You will play a key role in harmonizing our digital product offerings with leading interoperability standards, and in designing features and products that directly contribute to saving lives worldwide. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to shape the architecture behind our digital products — recommending solution designs, leading risk analysis within cyber security and safety, and helping drive innovation in medical device interoperability and AI.
Working in a team together with other bright minds to develop our future within digitalization. What you will do Collaborate with product management, compliance, sales and other internal or external stakeholders to conduct pre-studies and prototyping regarding new technologies, features and products. Recommend solution designs and strategic architectural decisions.
Handle risk analysis within cyber security and safety, with support from specialized teams. Provide technical guidance to development teams on implementing and utilizing interoperability standards. Help drive innovation, primarily within medical device interoperability and AI technologies.
This position is based in Solna, with some occasional travel. Remote work is possible 1–2 days a week. You will bring To be successful in this position, we believe that you have the following qualifications.
Engineering degree in computer science, electro, Mechatronics or medical technology, or a related field. Minimum three years of experience in a systems architecture, systems engineering, or similar role. Experience with requirements and risk management, including functional safety.
Experience leading investigations into new technologies, features, or products. Familiarity with relevant interoperability standards such as HL7 v2, FHIR, and SDC. Ability to develop software for demonstration or prototyping purposes, for example in Python or Java.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences, and fluency in Swedish and English. Experience in the following areas will be considered a merit: Extensive knowledge of the medical technology domain, from a regulatory, technical and/or user perspective. Extensive experience in software development and/or involvement in open-source or collaborative software projects, specifically with embedded systems and Linux.
Experience with wider technical events, e.g. innovation challenges, hackathons or larger-scale interoperability testing events. In addition to your technical skills, we highly value your personality. We believe you are structured, analytical and collaborative, with strong communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with diverse technical and business stakeholders.
