Join our SCM team as a Logistics Systems & SAP EWM Specialist 80-100% (m/f/d) in Visp and play a key role in connecting Logistics Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and IT. Our full list of tailored local benefits in Visp can be found on: Benefits - Visp What you’ll do: Owns and continuously improves end-to-end SAP MM and SAP EWM processes covering inbound operations, warehousing, internal material flows, production supply, inventory management, returns, and outbound logistics . Analyzes business requirements, prepares functional specifications, and supports system configurations, enhancements, interfaces, and rollouts in close collaboration with IT and implementation partners. Monitors and manages the integration between SAP ERP/S/4HANA, decentralized SAP EWM, LIMS, 3PL systems, as well as warehouse automation and material handling systems, coordinating issue resolution when required .
Plans and executes testing activities, data validation, cutover, go-live, hypercare , and handover to support teams, ensuring thorough and compliant documentation of results. Ensures compliance with cGMP, data integrity, CSV, quality, safety, and internal governance requirements throughout process and system changes. Manages incidents, masterdata , and change requests, conducts root cause analyses, and implements sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
Defines role and authorization requirements in line with Segregation of Duties ( SoD ) principles and supports the implementation of risk-based mitigation measures. Creates and maintains process documentation, SOPs, work instructions, training materials, and key user documentation, while delivering training and knowledge transfer to end users. What we are looking for: Several years of experience with SAP EWM , ideally complemented by SAP MM expertise , in a manufacturing , pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated environment.
Strong understanding of end-to-end warehouse and logistics processes, including inbound, storage, inventory management, production supply, and outbound distribution. Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions and drive process improvements in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders. Experience with system implementations, enhancements, integrations, testing, validation, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
Solid knowledge of cGMP, CSV, data integrity, and quality requirements within regulated environments is highly desirable. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams. Proactive, independent, and solution-oriented professional with excellent communication skills F luency in English is required and German is a strong advantage.
