Responsibilities The Intern-GOSO will report to the GOSO – Associate Director and will work with a team to provide critical capabilities for Eli Lilly & Company’s sales forces. These capabilities may include sales force sizing and structure, territory alignment design and maintenance , field call planning support, Incentives, Dynamic Targeting & Insights, Data Strategy and Operations and other strategic/cyclical projects.
Key accountabilities will include the following: Data Management: Automate excel-based operations to SQL/Python/Databricks for improving processing turn-around time, and set-up quality assurance procedures Process data on AWS, Databricks etc. sourced from varied data sources following the standard operating procedure documents Understand the current data architecture within GOSO and deliver ad-hoc data pulls and low/medium complexity analysis Validate data quality and accuracy of the results of existing & new processes Collate information and maintain field dashboards covering various business centric KPIs. Work on technology to create data & ETL pipelines. Further maintain & improve these data processes.
Contribute on AI strategy by working on metadata, data products & contracts, semantic infrastructure & AI readiness Create and maintain robust documentation & SOPs. Business Processes: Standardize and own capability-focused activities Have foundational experience in setting up project management software, leadership dashboard and good practices Process maps creation and update working in collaboration with existing team members Project artefacts and data/files storage-location standardization Solve interesting business problems through cutting edge techniques such as AI Tools & Agentification Leverage knowledge of statistics and ML to generate predictive models to generate actionable insights Interact with multiple teams & present to key business stakeholders. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree Essential Skills Experience in writing code (e.g.
SQL, VBA, Python, AI Tools) Should understand sales planning processes for sales force Strong learning agility Strong analytical mindset Excellent communication (written & verbal) Prioritization skills Strong attention to detail High level of motivation and a strong desire to find creative solutions to challenging situations Good focus on detail, accuracy, and ability to solve problems through analytical reasoning Experience in business analysis Lilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions.
