Manufacturing Engineer Requisition ID 2026-19206 Posting Date 9 hours ago (9/9/2026 1:42 PM) Job Location(s) Winston-Salem NC United States Job Locations US-NC-Winston-Salem Travel Less than 10% Position Type Full Time Company Cook Winston-Salem Category Quality Overview The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical support to the production area by researching, designing, facilitating testing, and technically documenting the feasibility of device construction and processing as it relates to new and or changed production. Responsibilities - Interface with quality engineering and operations personnel to investigate nonconformances and machine shop personnel to develop tooling and equipment for use in production - Serve as lead or support for product modifications involving process improvements for the purpose of reducing nonconformances - Research, develop, improve, and implement new processes into production concerning existing product lines. - Facilitate building and testing new or modified process prototypes - Perform equipment and process validations per established procedures. - Develop software plans for new and existing equipment. - Formulate manufacturing costs for process changes based on labor, equipment acquisitions, and raw material rates. - Assist with training and technical support of assemblers and/or engineering technicians. - Perform other duties as assigned. independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision - Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations - Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization - Must strictly adhere to safety requirements - Maintain regular and punctual attendance - Must maintain company quality and quantity standards - Must have effective oral and written communication skills - Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision - Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology. - Experience and understanding of the equipment validation process. - Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated - Proven problem solving skills -Excellent written and verbal communication skills Physical Requirements/Work Environment - Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations. - Work is performed in a normal office environment with periodic work performed in a controlled manufacturing area requiring protective clothing and safety glasses.
