Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine Job Summary: Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) manages the process technology strategy to produce biotherapeutics in the new Bioprocessing Facility in Wilson, North Carolina. We are responsible for Process, Steaming & Cleaning Validation, Standardization of Equipment, and Life Cycle Management (LCM) of our commercial production processes. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: The MSAT Engineer Co-op will be responsible for: Draft clear, accurate validation protocols and summary reports in accordance with approved procedures and documentation standards.
Support the execution of validation studies, including data collection, review, and documentation of results. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support projects, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate MSAT activities and deliverables with contractors and vendors, as needed.
Complete required technical, safety, compliance, and role-specific training to support assigned responsibilities. Participate in cross-functional meetings with MSAT, Quality, Engineering, Operations, and Laboratory teams to build knowledge of biotechnology manufacturing and project execution; document action items and support timely follow-up. Minimum Qualification: Able to work in the US and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., FI, H1-B status) A student must be currently enrolled in an accredited University or College program throughout the entire duration of the internship (Not necessarily actively taking classes) Available to work full-time (40 hrs./week) with reliable transportation to and from work if asked to report on-site Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher and be available to work the hours agreed upon with the hiring manager.
