Job summary

We are seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to support and enhance our cybersecurity posture across enterprise systems, cloud platforms, laboratory environments, scientific applications, and research infrastructure. This position partners cross-functionally with Product, Software Development, and QA/RA teams to identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks while ensuring alignment with industry regulations and security best practices.

The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and technical skills in security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and risk assessment, helping protect sensitive research, genomic, clinical, and intellectual property data and maintain a compliant, audit-ready security posture across HealthTech, MedTech, and Biotech environments.

Responsibilities

Manage and operate IT security systems and tools;

Monitor enterprise, cloud, and laboratory environments for security threats, and perform investigation and response to security incidents, including root cause analysis;

Perform log analysis, security event investigation, incident response, and escalation as appropriate;

Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing across on-premise and cloud environments, and support remediation based on identified risk and business impact;

Contribute to system and infrastructure hardening and implementation of security improvements;

Collaborate with IT, Software Development, Product, and QA/RA teams to identify security risks and support implementation of appropriate security controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience;

Professional experience in one or more of the following: Information Security, Cybersecurity Operations, Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, Security Monitoring, Cloud Security, Risk Management, or Security Compliance;

Hands-on experience with security technologies such as SIEM platforms, EDR/XDR solutions, vulnerability scanning tools, and penetration testing tools;

Understanding of common security vulnerabilities, security controls, and remediation approaches across enterprise and cloud environments;

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and nontechnical teams;

Experience working in regulated industries such as biotechnology, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences is preferred;

Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA/HITECH, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and GDPR is preferred;

Relevant information security or cybersecurity certifications preferred;

Fluency in English and Russian, both written and spoken.
