As a Senior Accountant, General Ledger & Fixed Assets, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial records across multiple entities. Working within our Global Finance organization, you will manage complex accounting activities, support statutory and tax compliance requirements, drive month-end close excellence, and serve as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders. Your tasks include Managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities for multiple subsidiaries, including US GAAP and IFRS reporting.
Preparing and reviewing journal entries, including accruals, prepaid amortizations, and other ad hoc accounting adjustments. Reconciling balance sheet accounts, including intercompany transactions, and performing detailed balance sheet and P&L flux analyses. Administering fixed assets and lease accounting processes, from capitalization and maintenance through to disposal.
Preparing and supporting VAT, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax, and Corporate Income Tax filings in accordance with local requirements. Supporting SOX compliance activities, fulfilling internal and external audit requests, and maintaining accurate process documentation. Partnering closely with business stakeholders, leading special projects, and serving as the primary backup to the General Ledger Manager.
Your profile Holding a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience. With 4+ years of hands-on General Ledger accounting experience within a multinational, shared services, or complex finance environment. Demonstrating a strong understanding of accounting principles and reporting standards, including US GAAP and IFRS.
Possessing strong SAP FI expertise; experience with SAP S/4HANA is considered an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting. Demonstrating excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Korean is highly preferred to support collaboration with Korean-speaking stakeholders.
