Operations Business Analyst Posted Date 9 hours ago (9/10/2026 12:56 PM) Requisition ID 2026-38736 Job Locations US-NY Category Accounting/Finance Company (Portal Searching) FUJIFILM North America Corporation - Imaging Division Position Overview The Operations Business Analyst plays a key role in managing large data sets from multiple sources, thinks critically, draws conclusions based upon sound data interpretation and input from others, and provides insights and recommendations to the Operations team. This position reports to the Director of Supply Chain and Customer Service and will need to identify and use data to analyze, improve, and optimize the supply chain and customer service operations and processes of the organization and gain crucial insights into business trends. The Operations Business Analyst will be proactive in supporting key strategic initiatives across the company’s operations and be responsible for gathering and interpreting data, identifying trends, creating insightful reports, and working cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives for the Operations Team.
You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, sales, procurement, order management, product management and division leadership—to uncover insights, optimize systems, and lead data-backed decision making. Work with IT or developers to automate reports and streamline data flows when required.
Deliver high-quality, actionable insights through ad hoc and recurring reporting. Understand how various inventory categories are reported and create real time insights to track stock levels, order status, and in-transit inventory Build and manage dashboards and reporting tools to visualize KPIs, forecast accuracy, comparisons to multiple scenarios, and inventory trends. Envision data needs that can help enhance understanding and analysis of assigned businesses, and support other team members in their data requests from internal ERP, BI, and forecasting systems.
Work with large datasets to perform advanced analytics, root cause analysis, and data cleansing using Excel and other tools. Strategic Analysis Identify performance trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities using structured data analysis Collaborate with stakeholders to define and evolve operational KPIs and drive the organization to achieve stated goals Ensure data accuracy and integrity in supply chain systems and drive continuous improvements. Conceive and maintain analytical tools to monitor key supply chain performance metrics (e.g., inventory levels and turns, order fulfillment, forecast accuracy), identify inefficiencies, and recommend opportunities for improvement.
Develop supplier scorecard methodology that provides visibility into vendor performance metrics. Process & Tooling Improvements Contribute to the identification and implementation of best practices that enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and data integrity Partner with operations leadership to refine workflows, improve efficiency, and scale solutions Document new workflows and enable teams with clear SOPs and playbooks Help vet and implement tools for reporting, communication, and automation Stay informed about industry best practices, technologies, and regulatory requirements impacting the supply chain. Project Management Support the execution of cross-functional initiatives—scoping requirements, building timelines, and ensuring follow-through Track project progress through collaboration with stakeholders in procurement, logistics, planning, and IT to align data insights with business needs and operational goals.
Key Relationships Planning Customer Service Operations/Logistics/Procurement Marketing/Sales Finance Required Skills/Experience Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Operations, or related field 7+ years of experience in business operations, data analytics, demand planning, or similar cross-functional roles Working knowledge of ERP and demand forecasting systems (e.g., SAP, Anaplan, Oracle, NetSuite) Expert-level Excel skills including pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas, and VBA (a plus) Strong background and comfort working directly with large sets of datasets and translating it into analysis Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of supply chain principles Exceptional attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations and be able to thoroughly understand how the data is constructed and represents what is intended Self-starter with critical thinking skills, curiosity, high level of integrity, and a collaborative attitude Desired Skills Experience with dashboard creation using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office package Familiarity with AI tools and software like Netsuite, Airtable & Zendesk Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally with the ability to work across teams.
