Join Applied Medical's Finance team at our European headquarters in Amersfoort as a Team Leader Senior Accountants.
In this role, you will lead a team responsible for the accounting activities of Applied Medical's European entities, ensuring accurate financial administration, compliance, and reporting. You will play a key role in driving process improvements, supporting audits, ensuring US GAAP compliance, and developing a high-performing team.
Reporting to the Manager Accounting and Credit Control, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organization and contribute to the continued growth and success of our European Finance operation.
Key Responsibilities
Managing
- ✓Lead, coach, and develop the Senior Accounting team
- ✓Define team priorities and ensure departmental goals are achieved
- ✓Manage onboarding, succession planning, and performance development
- ✓Strengthening collaboration with stakeholders across the organization
Process Improvement
- ✓Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes, procedures, and systems
- ✓Maintain and enhance internal procedures and controls
- ✓Drive efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives within and beyond the team
Quality
- ✓Oversee the accuracy and completeness of the general ledgers for European entities
- ✓Ensure compliance with US GAAP, company policies, and quality standards
- ✓Supervise key accounting activities, including reconciliations, fixed assets, VAT and Intrastat reporting
- ✓Coordinate and support internal and external audits
- ✓Manage internal and external financial reporting activities
What you bring
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
