Together, we create a culture defined by curiosity, responsibility, and humility, where our talented people are empowered and inspired to bring forward extraordinary life-changing innovation at speed. pRED Cardiovascular & Metabolism, Immunology and Infectious Diseases (CMI2), located in Basel, Switzerland, focuses on the discovery and early development of innovative treatments for specific diseases that affect the lives of millions. The Opportunity In this pivotal role, you as Administrative Assistant will collaborate closely with Research and Development teams within Cardiovascular Metabolics, Immunology and Infectious Diseases DTA and the entire CMI2 community. Your primary objective is to ensure seamless business operations through proactive administrative support and effective cross-departmental coordination.

Furthermore: Provide administrative support to pRED CMI2 teams, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and room bookings across multiple time zones. Coordinate and support events, including town halls, face-to-face meetings, and other team events, from agenda planning through execution. Support team communications by drafting emails, preparing agendas, and sharing departmental information and policies.

Manage financial administration, including purchase orders (POs), invoice processing, and expense reporting. Drive process improvements by leveraging Digital Workplace tools to enhance meeting efficiency and global team collaboration, while supporting colleagues in building their digital capabilities. Manage time administration for the CMI2 team.

Contribute as an active member of the CMI2 Operations team, supporting team effectiveness and continuous development Who you are You have an administrative qualification, a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, combined with proven administrative experience. You are proficient in Google Workspace and other productivity tools, with experience using AI to simplify administrative tasks and processes. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.

You are fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage. You are collaborative, flexible and proactive, with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute where needed. You are a confident problem solver who can work independently with minimal supervision.
