Your new role As Scientific Strategy Manager in the Executive Office in Research & Development (R&D), you will develop strategic and scientific materials to support decision making at the R&D Leadership Team, Executive Management, and Board of Directors. You will help ensure clarity on R&D’s strategic direction and portfolio progress towards a broader audience within Novo Nordisk and selected external audiences together with the R&D Corporate Affairs advisors. You will work across the full R&D value chain - from early research to clinical development, regulatory submissions and lifecycle management.

Your key responsibilities will include: Provide scientific strategy and communication advisory to the EVP of R&D, bringing strong scientific understanding and an innovative mindset Adapt and convert scientific research, information, and findings into content that is easy to understand for diverse audiences, including employees, leaders, the general public, and other stakeholders - ensuring clarity and relevance for each audience Demonstrate strong knowledge of scientific concepts and research to accurately represent and explain scientific developments in layman’s terms Support senior scientists/researchers in communicating their work to non-expert audiences, including message development Take part in the R&D Strategy development and translation Your new department You will report to the Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President (EVP) of R&D and be part of a small, closely connected Executive Office team that supports the Executive Vice President of R&D and the Leadership Team. You will take part in driving the R&D strategy, including organisational development, and connect the dots related to strategy, organisational development, and communication across R&D, a global organisation of around 7.500 colleagues. Your skills and qualifications To succeed in this role, you are likely to bring: A master's degree or other advanced degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related discipline Experience with leadership support towards senior leaders in corporate environments is highly preferred Experience with translating scientific insights into clear communication Ability to quickly grasp complicated insights and turn it into clear communication Excellent communication and collaboration skills Moreover, we imagine that you t hink strategically while remaining highly execution oriented.

Salary: For this role, the Annual B ase S alary ranges from 742,600.00 to 1,091,600.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience. Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
