What you will do as Director, Clinical Operations
- ✓Lead and develop a high-performing leadership team across multiple onsite sterile processing departments, ensuring exceptional service delivery and achievement of contractual commitments.
- ✓Drive employee engagement, retention, and a culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- ✓Collaborate with business development partners and customer stakeholders to establish, communicate, and manage expectations while ensuring successful contract execution.
- ✓Build strong relationships with executive and operational customer leaders, conducting regular business reviews focused on KPIs, performance results, and strategic objectives.
- ✓Ensure achievement of customer KPIs and service level expectations across all assigned locations.
- ✓Resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively by identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and tracking measurable outcomes.
- ✓Identify opportunities to expand services and strengthen customer partnerships through consistent delivery of value and results.
- ✓Optimize staffing, resource allocation, and workforce planning to meet operational demands and contract requirements across multiple sites.
- ✓Lead the implementation of operational processes, policies, new services, product conversions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- ✓Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards while maintaining operational excellence and quality outcomes.
- ✓Manage financial performance, including budget and P&L accountability, while driving cost savings through process improvement and team development.
- ✓Analyze non-conformances, performance trends, and operational data to develop and execute strategic improvement plans that align with business objectives.
The Abilities, Skills, and Experience Required
Required
- ✓High school diploma or equilvalent, with 12+ years of healthcare experience with 8+ years of leadership experience in a healthcare or manufacturing facility.
- ✓Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- ✓Active certification in sterile processing/central sterile via CBSPD or HSPA (IAHCSMM). If not certified at point of hire, it must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
- ✓Experience with project management, process improvement, and strategic planning.
- ✓Must possess solid managerial, analytical, organizational skills, and financial acumen.
- ✓Must possess effective negotiating and influence skills.
- ✓Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate personnel to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth.
Preferred
- ✓Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of healthcare experience with 6+ years of leadership experience in a healthcare facility.
- ✓Experience in Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement.
- ✓Experience with instrument tracking software and employee management systems.
- ✓Strong knowledge of Sterile Processing, Operating Room, and Material Management functions.
- ✓Strong medical instrument knowledge.
Pay range for this opportunity is $124,737.50 - $161,425.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
