The Business Intelligence Analyst Lead - LATAM serves as a strategic business partner to regional leadership, driving data-informed decision-making and commercial excellence across the Latin American region. The role is responsible for transforming complex internal, market, customer, and commercial data into actionable insights, predictive intelligence, and strategic recommendations that accelerate revenue growth, improve profitability, optimize pricing and sales performance, and support market expansion initiatives.

Leveraging advanced analytics, data science, AI-driven solutions, and business intelligence tools, the position provides a forward-looking view of business performance by identifying emerging trends, growth opportunities, competitive threats, market dynamics, and operational risks. The role develops predictive models, scenario analyses, and performance frameworks that support strategic planning, resource allocation, portfolio management, and commercial execution across diverse LATAM markets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Analytics & Data Science Responsibilities Lead the development of advanced business intelligence ecosystems integrating ERP, CRM, market intelligence, financial, and commercial datasets.

Develop predictive and prescriptive analytics models to forecast revenue, pricing behavior, customer adoption, and commercial performance. Utilize machine learning, AI tools, and statistical modeling to anticipate business risks and opportunities. Design executive dashboards with real-time visibility into ASP evolution, market share, account penetration, and Salesforce effectiveness.

Drive segmentation strategies across premium, mid-tier, and public markets to optimize portfolio positioning. Identify surgeon adoption curves, purchasing patterns, and regional growth opportunities. Monitor competitor activities, reimbursement trends, tender dynamics, and emerging technologies.

Lead data governance initiatives ensuring data quality, consistency, scalability, and accessibility. Strategic Impact & Growth Responsibilities Transform complex datasets into compelling executive-level business narratives. Provide forward-looking insights that influence portfolio optimization and market expansion.

Identify growth acceleration opportunities through upselling, cross-selling, and pricing optimization. Build predictive business models supporting long-range strategic planning and forecasting. Deliver recommendations that directly impact revenue growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.

Leadership & Collaboration Responsibilities Lead and develop a high-performing BI and Data Science team. Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and data-driven decision-making. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership with proactive strategic recommendations.

Champion the adoption of AI, automation, and predictive analytics capabilities within LATAM. Train and mentor commercial teams to improve data literacy and analytical capabilities. Advanced Functional Competencies Strategic Business Intelligence and executive-level decision support.

Functional Competencies Business acumen : understands the business models, KPIS and industry benchmarks. Data Interpretation & Analysis : Demonstrates proficiency in analyzing complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact commercial performance, including ASP fluctuations, sales volumes, and market dynamics. Insight Generation : Translates raw data into actionable insights that inform business strategies, such as identifying untapped market opportunities, optimizing upselling and cross-selling tactics, and improving surgery conversion rates.

Visualization & Storytelling : Develops clear, compelling dashboards and visual reports using BI tools to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders across LATAM. Data-Driven Decision Making : Applies analytical thinking to support strategic initiatives, ensuring decisions are backed by evidence and aligned with business goals. Collaboration & Influence : Works cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance Commercial teams to embed data literacy into daily operations and foster a culture of informed decision-making.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related analytical field required. Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, MBA, Artificial Intelligence, or related field strongly preferred. 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Science, Commercial Analytics, or Strategic Analytics leadership.

Advanced expertise in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, Power Query, DAX, and data modeling. Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning models, AI-driven forecasting, and statistical analysis. Strong understanding of CRM, ERP, and healthcare/commercial data ecosystems.

Experience influencing executive-level decisions through analytics and strategic recommendations. Fluent in English, Spanish or Portuguese. Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: PC servers, workstations, and laptops.

Telecommunication equipment, cell phones and smart phones. Microsoft and Apple environment. Work with standard current computer applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

MS Office 365, SQL server, Oracle, Cloud Solutions, and partner software applications. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.
