About this role

Job Summary The Asset Manager is responsible for ensuring manufacturing equipment, facilities, and production assets are reliable, compliant, and operating efficiently. This role manages the asset lifecycle, maintenance programs, equipment performance, and capital planning to support manufacturing and business goals. Key Responsibilities Manage the lifecycle of manufacturing assets from installation through replacement.

Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Monitor equipment performance, downtime, and asset utilization. Lead equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO 13485, safety, and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate asset records and documentation in CMMS/EAM systems. Support equipment qualification, validation, and calibration activities.

Develop asset replacement plans and support CAPEX budgeting. Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Facilities, Engineering, and EHS teams to resolve equipment-related issues. Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and cost-saving initiatives.

Manage external vendors and service providers where required. Provide regular reporting on asset health, maintenance performance, and improvement opportunities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, reliability, asset management, or engineering. Experience in Medical Device, MedTech, Pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments. Knowledge of maintenance and asset management principles.

Experience using CMMS/EAM systems (SAP, Maximo, Infor, or similar). Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with GMP, ISO 13485, and FDA-regulated environments.

Certification in Lean Six Sigma, Reliability Engineering, CMRP, or PMP. Experience with predictive maintenance and continuous improvement programs. Knowledge of asset lifecycle planning and capital project management.
