Work Schedule - Monday - Friday, Day Shift Job Responsibilities Manages operational activities of laboratory teams conducting bioanalytical analysis in support of preclinical and clinical studies. Ensures scientific quality and client service targets are achieved. Effectively manage staffing, monitoring schedules, and assist with prioritization and day to day resourcing of personnel and equipment.
Directly supervise, train, and mentor supervisors along with responsibility for all Lab Operations staff Assists with routine client visits and regulatory audits, as needed. Assists and/or addresses facility and/or process audits, as needed Independently owns and manages process improvement initiates, or non-study related projects Responsible for assuring staff compliance to SOPs and other regulatory agency guidelines, as applicable Discusses study problems or scope changes with appropriate personnel, suggests solutions and actions to solve study problems, manages the impact on time and cost Independently tracks, analyzes, and provides recommendations related to forecasting, revenue production, and cost management Addresses study and process issues, including corrective and preventative action plans that may be required. Promotes a cohesive team environment.
Acts as a mentor to other staff. Participates in project meetings, plans, monitors and guides project work. Interacts with internal and external clients.
Ensures a clean and safe laboratory work environment. Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical Science or related 8 years or more Biopharma lab experience or related, working in a GLP/ GCP laboratory, with extensive knowledge of regulations 4 years or more People Management experience Preferred Qualification: Current or prior Labcorp or contract laboratory experience Experience with HPLC and Mass Spectrometry 4 years or more with specific Bioanalytical Lab Experience 2 years or more of experience managing people leaders Additional Job Standards Experience in a high volume laboratory environment Understanding of laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures Proven success in training and developing both technical and non-technical employees Proficient with Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft Office Ability to problem solve and provide solutions under minimal supervision Strong communication skills; both written and verbal High level of attention to detail with strong organizational skills Comfortability making decisions in a changing environment Client facing experience Ability to time manage, plan, prioritize, and negotiate Ability to lead meetings and presentations Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Application Window Closes: 9/21/26 **Pay Range : $100,000 - $130,000 annually All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
