About this role

About Terrestrial Bio, Inc.

Terrestrial is transforming the delivery of next-generation therapies, starting with GLP-1.

Terrestrial's proprietary Tacterra™ microarray patch (MAP) and applicator platform consists of a patch resembling an adhesive bandage, which is applied with a preloaded applicator and removed after a few minutes. Once applied, each patch delivers bioactive tips into the skin, which dissolve quickly into the body, rapidly releasing their therapeutic payload. Designed for self-administration, the temperature-stable Tacterra™ platform enables precise, controlled delivery of a wide range of therapeutics without medical sharps or refrigeration.

Terrestrial has generated strong clinical and in-vivo proof of concept across multiple molecules. For more information, visit www.terrestrialbio.com.

Why this role

Our team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Associates with strong hands-on experience in chromatographic analysis to support in-process, release, and stability testing for the MAP program. In this role, you will perform routine cGMP QC testing using HPLC/UPLC methods (reverse-phase, SEC, IEX), Agilent systems, and additional supporting assays. You will also perform HPLC/UPLC method development and troubleshooting to support early-phase clinical QC.

As part of a growing QC department, you will work in a collaborative, fast-paced, and cross-functional environment

What you'll do

Perform routine QC in-process, release, and stability testing using HPLC/UPLC methods including reverse-phase, SEC, and IEX

Perform HPLC/UPLC method development and troubleshooting in collaboration with senior scientists to support the QC workflow

Prepare samples, operate Agilent systems, verify system suitability, and ensure analyses meet method and specification requirements

Execute complementary analytical assays such as UV-Vis, pH, surface tension, and mechanical tests

Maintain complete, accurate documentation in compliance with cGMP, ALCOA+, and data integrity requirements

Conduct routine instrument care (solvent flushes, column care, daily checks)

Process and review chromatographic data in Agilent OpenLab CDS

Support method qualification, validation, and transfer activities by executing protocols and recording observations

Maintain calibration, maintenance, and service records for analytical instrumentation

Write and maintain key technical documentation including SOPs, analytical protocols, technical reports, and audit-ready records; contribute to regulatory submissions

Collaborate cross-functionally with QC, Analytical Development, Process Development, Manufacturing, and Regulatory teams to enable program success

Who you are

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 1–3 years of experience; or a master’s degree with relevant laboratory experience

Hands-on experience operating HPLC/UPLC systems; Agilent systems and OpenLab CDS experience strongly preferred

Practical experience with chromatographic techniques including reverse-phase, SEC, and IEX

Experience supporting QC release or stability testing in a GMP-aligned/GLP environment

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs precisely

Excellent documentation practices and understanding of data integrity

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfort working within interdisciplinary teams
