Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. Labcorp is seeking a Hybrid Senior Director, Commercial Finance leader to join our team! Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm This hybrid position offers a balanced schedule of three in-office workdays at our Madisonville, WI or Indianapolis, IN locations and two remote workdays per week, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.

Other Labcorp locations potentially considered. This role is responsible for developing and implementing commercial financial strategies, frameworks, and analytics capabilities that support profitable growth and enhance competitive positioning across the ED portfolio. The Senior Director will leverage deep expertise in biopharma customer purchasing behaviors, market dynamics, and value-based pricing to optimize revenue opportunities while maximizing overall business profitability.

The Senior Director will partner closely with executive leadership, business unit leaders, and the global sales organization to shape commercial strategy, evaluate growth opportunities, guide deal decisions, and ensure the achievement of Commercial Finance objectives. Success in this position requires a combination of strategic thinking, financial acumen, leadership capability, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a complex, global biopharmaceutical services environment. Responsibilities: Lead and oversee the strategic direction and operational execution of Global Strategic Deal Development and Commercial Analytics for the Early Development business within the Biopharma Laboratory Services Division Provide leadership, supervision, and development of direct reports including training, performance evaluation, workload balancing, project allocation, recruiting, and issue resolution Support business growth through innovative processes, strategic thinking, effective prioritization, and a culture of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction Oversee and refine sales analytics used for reporting, presentations, and commercial decision making Develop and maintain robust sales information systems and analytics, including data and modeling to support annual sales targeting Participate in the annual Net Orders Budget process, including target setting and preparation of budget presentation materials Ensure accuracy of reported orders and backlog data Ensure effective business continuity within Global Strategic Deal Development by addressing market dynamics, resourcing challenges, and operational risks Define, implement, and govern policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures Lead Master Service Agreement negotiations in partnership with ED Contracts, Legal, Revenue Cycle Management, and other stakeholders, and coordinate internal actions Drive rate development and commercial strategies to support sales, operations, proposals, and broader ED objectives Support tool development initiatives and lead algorithm and modeling discussions in partnership with operations Oversee commercial strategy support for the RFP process, including challenge calls, costing strategy, and win strategy development Ensure departmental productivity and staffing targets are achieved Execute defined reporting requirements for Global Strategic Pricing performance metrics including growth targets, discount trends, win/loss analysis, and productivity measures Design and evolve the departmental organizational structure in support of the broader ED commercial organization Drive solution‑oriented approaches to address ED client needs Maintain working knowledge of relevant technical, regulatory, and business unit‑specific environments and company policies Review, analyze, and interpret ED commercial and departmental reports Direct strategic commercial frameworks across ED in partnership with senior management and sales leadership Develop, maintain, and grow key ED client relationships Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships and represent Global Strategic Pricing as needed Actively support strategic client relationships to expand the commercial pipeline Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business or Life Sciences with 10+ years of relative experience in the pharmaceutical, CRO, or laboratory industry Preferred Qualifications 7+years of people management or supervisory experience Additional Job Standards: Experience developing and executing commercial strategies in complex, matrixed organizations​​ Strong leadership and people management capabilities Demonstrated ability to plan, multitask, and prioritize effectively Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and strategic thinking skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients and senior leadership Ability to negotiate, develop proposal language, and close complex deals Customer‑focused mindset with strong attention to detail and persistence Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment Demonstrated financial acumen including budget management, financial planning, and P&L ownership Ability to deliver financial and commercial results Adaptability, growth mindset, and resilience in a dynamic environment Willingness to work across time zones, occasionally outside standard business hours Ability to travel occasionally as required ​Experience with commercial analytics, pricing strategy, and sales performance management Proficiency with commercial and business systems such as Salesforce and CMS Application Window Closes: 9-22-26 Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
