As Healthcare Compliance Manager Human Pharma in The Netherlands, you safeguard interactions with healthcare professionals, healthcare organisations, payers and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, procedures and our Code of Conduct. In this role, you will foster a culture of integrity and support behavioral compliance in line with Boehringer Ingelheim's values. You will act as a first point of contact and trusted compliance partner to the Human Pharma business, helping colleagues understand key compliance risks and make well-informed business decisions, and you will be responsible for optimizing, updating and training the local organization on relevant local medical / healthcare compliance related procedures This position is based in Amsterdam and reports directly to the Medical Director.

Advise the Local Leadership Team on compliance status and key risks. Provide proactive healthcare compliance guidance across relevant risk areas. Partner with the local business to anticipate legal/regulatory changes and translate them into practical guidance.
Contribute to MIDI Compliance activities, including risk assessments and action plans. Manage internal investigations related to Healthcare Compliance Human Pharma. Build external networks (e.g. industry associations) and maintain internal compliance connections.
Support transparency reporting, including transfer-of-value reviews and SOP maintenance. Ensure active compliance information flow and reporting within MIDI. Optimize, update and train the organisation on relevant local Medical / Healthcare Compliance related procedures.
YOU BRING Master's degree in Legal, Economics, Regulatory Affairs or equivalent professional training in healthcare compliance. Around 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the Netherlands . Strong healthcare compliance knowledge and ability to advise the business.
Fluent in Dutch and English. Strong business acumen and communication skills. Solid understanding of business processes and stakeholder needs.
Ability to explain complex compliance/legal topics clearly. Proactive, structured, and adaptable working style. Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally.
