Learn more at tandemdiabetes.com A DAY IN THE LIFE: We are currently recruiting an International Event Specialist based in Switzerland to support the delivery of memorable, high-quality events across our international business. The successful candidate will bring a strong hospitality mindset, outstanding organisational skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Based in the Lausanne area, this role includes regular international travel to coordinate and support events across multiple regions.

As our International Event Specialist, you'll be responsible for delivering corporate events from concept through to execution, ensuring every detail contributes to a seamless and engaging attendee experience. Key responsibilities include: Planning, coordinating, and executing international corporate events, including leadership meetings, conferences, off-sites, internal events, and partner engagements. Managing end-to-end event logistics , including venue sourcing, agendas, timelines, travel arrangements, accommodation, catering, production requirements, and on-site delivery.

Partnering with senior leaders and key stakeholders to define event objectives , content, and desired outcomes. Ensuring a consistent and professional Tandem brand experience across all events and locations. Building and managing relationships with event agencies, venues, production companies, logistics partners, and other external suppliers.

Leading supplier ne gotiations and managing contracts to ensure excellent service delivery and value for money. Collaborating with Finance, Legal, Procurement, HR, Marketing, and Communications teams to ensure smooth event execution and compliance with company processes. Developing and managing budgets, tracking expenditure, monitoring costs, and producing post-event reporting and insights.

Coordinating international shipping, materials, equipment, and event assets to support successful event delivery. Supporting executive and leadership meetings through agenda management, presentation coordination, and high-level logistical planning. Gathering feedback, analysing event performance metrics, and identifying opportunities to continuously improve attendee experiences and event processes.

Travelling internationally as required to support event planning, setup, and on-site management. Supporting our senior leadership team with some general administration. EXTRA AWESOME: We're excited to hear from candidates who bring: Experience in event management, international coordination, corporate events, or a related field.

Proven success delivering international events of varying size and complexity. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent vendor management and negotiation capabilities.

Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Confidence working with senior executives and cross-functional international teams.

Experience managing budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and procurement processes. High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience using procurement platforms such as Coupa or similar systems.

Fluency in English. French language skills are highly desirable. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary education is preferred.
