Senior Data Scientist, Marketing Measurement, Consumer Solutions Labcorp is seeking a Senior Data Scientist, Marketing Measurement, Consumer Solutions, to join our team in Burlington, NC or Durham, NC with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule!
Responsibilities: Lead Labcorp OnDemand's marketing measurement strategy, establishing scalable, privacy-compliant frameworks for performance tracking across all marketing channels. Partner with Marketing, Data Engineering, IT, Privacy, and Analytics teams to build a unified marketing data model connecting campaign, customer journey, and business outcome data. Define and govern KPI definitions, event taxonomies, attribution methodologies, tagging frameworks, and campaign tracking standards.
Develop and evolve reporting capabilities that deliver actionable insights to executive, marketing, and analytics stakeholders. Build and maintain multi-touch attribution models to improve understanding of channel contribution and customer acquisition journeys. Lead the evaluation, development, and optimization of Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) capabilities to inform budget allocation and investment decisions.
Design and execute incrementality studies, lift tests, geo-based experiments, and other measurement frameworks to validate marketing effectiveness. Develop predictive models and forecasting capabilities to support customer acquisition, lifetime value analysis, and growth planning. Analyze full-funnel performance to identify opportunities to improve marketing efficiency, effectiveness, and return on investment.
Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations for marketing leaders and executive stakeholders. Evaluate measurement technologies, analytics platforms, and external partners to advance the organization's measurement capabilities. Serve as the subject matter expert for marketing measurement, attribution, experimentation, and media effectiveness.
Support the development of a scalable marketing analytics and data science function, helping define future team structure, processes, and best practices. Drive continuous innovation in marketing analytics and optimization methodologies to support long-term business growth. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Analytics.
7 or more years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, marketing measurement, econometrics, or media effectiveness. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Econometrics, Data Science or Applied Mathematics. Additional Job Standards: Experience developing or managing Marketing Mix Models (MMM).
Experience with incrementality testing, geo-experiments, lift studies, and causal measurement methodologies. Experience working in healthcare, diagnostics, eCommerce, consumer health, or highly regulated industries. Familiarity with modern marketing technology and data platforms including Freshpaint, Adobe CJA, Databricks, Snowflake, and customer data platforms.
Experience evaluating or managing third-party measurement vendors and analytics partners. Demonstrated experience leading complex analytics initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders through data-driven recommendations. Strong background in digital marketing measurement, attribution, experimentation, and performance analytics.
Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, technology, analytics, and data engineering teams. Skills and Competencies: Advanced statistical modeling and econometric analysis. Expertise in experimental design, causal inference, Bayesian statistics, and hypothesis testing.
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL. Experience with visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Familiarity with Marketing Mix Modeling frameworks, attribution methodologies, and marketing analytics best practices.
Experience building predictive models and machine learning solutions in production environments. About the Role The Senior Data Scientist, Marketing Measurement is responsible for building and scaling Labcorp OnDemand's marketing measurement, attribution, analytics, and optimization capabilities. This role serves as the strategic owner of marketing measurement, partnering across marketing, data engineering, IT, privacy, and analytics teams to develop a unified marketing data foundation that enables accurate reporting, attribution, experimentation, and media investment optimization.
The role will lead development of advanced measurement methodologies including Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), incrementality testing, lift studies, customer journey analytics, and forecasting. Additionally, this individual will establish reporting standards, define measurement frameworks, and develop scalable analytics solutions that translate complex data into actionable business recommendations. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in econometrics, statistics, and marketing analytics with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and shape long-term marketing investment strategy.
Applicants will follow a hybrid schedule that includes a minimum of three in-office days per week at the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.
