Senior Analyst, Development Services - Analytical Development The actual location of this job is in Singapore. The Process Analytics team is responsible for a range of activities including rapid analytical support for cell line selection, upstream and downstream process development, process characterization studies and other standalone stages for supporting customer’s IND/BLA application. The successful applicant will be responsible for analytical testing using routine test methods alongside automated high throughput assay platforms and managing scientific projects in the Process Analytics team, ensuring that projects are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.

What you will do: ·Execution of analytical testing on antibodies and other therapeutic recombinant proteins. ·Demonstrate breadth of knowledge across a variety of test methods, but are not limited to, techniques using capillary electrophoresis, HPLC/UPLC, oligosaccharides profiling, qPCR and ELISAs etc including high throughput versions (Bravo, Hamilton, GXII etc)). ·Perform method troubleshooting and optimization. ·Exercise technical discretion in the execution and interpretation of experiments that contribute to study strategies and study goals. ·Deliver high standards of documentation ( e.g. preparation and revision of test methods, study reports). ·Identifying unusual or atypical results and participating in appropriate investigations. ·Awareness of phase appropriate regulatory and quality expectations for analytical studies.
What we are looking for: Degree in a relevant Science field or Equivalent. Position available would be relevant for recent graduates and candidates with 2-4 years of experience in relevant process development analytical testing. Practical laboratory experience in analytical testing for antibodies or other recombinant proteins would be advantageous although training will be provided.
The final role offered will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience. Understanding of theory and application of recombinant protein production, purification and analysis. Good understanding and application of cGMP concepts is an added advantage.
