About the Role The Onsite Mobile Solutions Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the growth, launch, and continuity of the KARL STORZ Onsite Endoscopic Specialist program. In this mobile, field-based role, you will help establish new OES accounts, provide interim support for short-term contracts, and maintain service coverage at customer locations experiencing extended staffing gaps. As a subject matter expert, you will assess customer environments, establish effective workflows, deliver clinical and technical guidance, and help ensure incoming OES team members and customers are positioned for long-term success.
This highly visible role directly supports the customer experience, the success of the Onsite Program, and the KARL STORZ brand. This position requires frequent travel throughout the United States, including travel to hospitals, operating rooms, laboratories, and surgery centers. Compensation for this role will be determined based on the appropriate level within the established salary structure.
The current posting ranges are: B Level: $53,498 - $67,891 annually C Level: $58,906 - $74,797 annually What You’ll Do Launch and support new OES accounts by learning customer processes, workflows, procedures, and key stakeholders to create a strong foundation for long-term service success. Provide interim coverage for short-term OES contracts and established accounts with extended staffing gaps, helping maintain service continuity and customer satisfaction. Support implementation planning, identify process improvements, recommend efficient workflows, and document opportunities that help improve service delivery and reduce repair-related costs.
Deliver customized training and education based on KARL STORZ products, customer needs, and the clinical environment. Oversee daily maintenance and management of KARL STORZ equipment, including inspection, documentation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and readiness support in the operating room. Analyze account and product-utilization data while building strong working relationships with nurses, physicians, Sterile Processing, Materials Management, and administrative stakeholders.
What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent. Three or more years of experience as an OES, or three or more years of experience in Sterile Processing, surgical sales, surgical technology, or another relevant surgical or medical role. Advanced knowledge of operating room, Sterile Processing Department, and clinical processes, along with strong technical competence and knowledge of KARL STORZ products.
Ability to help create and execute implementation plans while adapting to the processes, stakeholders, and requirements of multiple customer environments. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel, and ability to travel frequently throughout the United States.

You are organized, self-directed, and able to manage frequent travel, changing priorities, and multiple account responsibilities. A bachelor’s degree, relevant advanced certifications, previous training experience, or experience in the medical device or healthcare marketplace is preferred.
