Ideal candidates will utilize and further develop technical and soft skills (i.e., communication), business knowledge, analytical techniques, and creative problem-solving abilities.
Assignments are carried out in a variety of work environments within Abbott's Cancer Diagnostics division, including corporate and operating unit locations, laboratories , and support function sites, where interns will interact with various finance co-workers and business partners. Abbott's Cancer Diagnostics business offers these interns an opportunity to work in a variety of fields, including: Financial Planning & Analysis Logistics /Supply Chain Finance Corporate Initiatives/Projects Intern assignments will be located onsite at Abbott Cancer Diagnostics office in Madison, WI Required Qualifications Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a Finance or Accounting related discipline Before graduation, planning to complete a minimum of 3 accounting classes (one 3-4 credit hour accounting course must be cost accounting) Must have a uthorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher Preferred Qualifications On-campus leadership positions Member of school or national organizations in Finance or Accounting School and/or work experience using Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint & Power BI) The base pay for this position is – In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
