Role summary: Lead and manage the sales function within the Business Unit to drive sustainable revenue growth, strengthen relationships with existing customers, and generate new business opportunities in line with agreed business objectives. Responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy, achieving financial and customer targets, and ensuring commercial excellence across the market. Lead, coach, develop, and motivate the sales team to maximize performance, engagement, and capability while fostering a high-performance culture.
Represent Baxter in the market, build strong customer partnerships, and drive the organization toward achieving its short- and long-term business goals through effective leadership, strategic execution, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales operating plans aligned with business objectives. Deliver revenue growth and achieve sales, financial and customer targets.
Lead account planning and sales force effectiveness initiatives. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships. Promote Baxter products, therapies and services to key decision makers.
Manage distributor/vendor performance. Lead, coach and develop the sales team. Manage workload, performance and resource allocation.
Partner with Marketing, Sales Support and Customer Service teams. Ensure compliance with Pharmacovigilance and adverse event reporting requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor degree required; Master degree preferred.
4–7 years sales experience within healthcare industry. 2–5 years’ experience leading sales teams. Skills: Excellent French communication skills.
Good English communication skills. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and business applications. Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
Sales planning, negotiation and distributor management. Core Competencies: Leadership and people development. Critical thinking and problem solving.
