About this role

We are looking for a proactive and hands on Mould Shop Supervisor, to lead our Production team in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. Join our Mould Shop team as a Mould Shop Supervisor, where you will play a key role in this hands- on manufacturing lead ership position ensuring the smooth day to day running of production in line with agreed timelines and quality standards . This position would be well suited for someone that has a strong background in plastic injection moulding processing , that has progressed into shift leadership, production supervision or team management.

By taking responsibility for production performance across the Mould Shop, you will lead the team to achieve targets for safety, quality, productivity, OEE and delivery, while providing hands-on technical support across the injection moulding operation and helping our teams focus on what matters most: better health for more people. Based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire you will lead and supervise the day-to-day production operation running a 24/5 shift pattern. However, the working hours for this position will be Monday to Thursday 7:10am – 4:10pm and Fridays 7:10am – 11:10am.

Our site in Stonehouse is a manufacturer of plastic components and single – use products, such as lab scale bioreactors and filtration. Grow W ith U s – Your Responsibilities Manage staffing levels and resources to ensure production plans are delivered effectively Improve key manufacturing performance measures, including OEE, scrap reduction, downtime and overall production efficiency Provide hands-on technical support across plastic injection moulding processes, machinery and ancillary equipment Maintain high standards of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance across the Mould Shop Drive quality improvements, identifying opportunities to reduce defects, waste and rework Support 5S and Continuous Improvement activities to enhance manufacturing performance and workplace organisation Troubleshoot production, process and equipment issues to minimise downtime and disruption Coach, develop and motivate production team members to support performance, engagement and skills development Work collaboratively with other departments to improve operational performance and resolve production challenges Ensure production targets are achieved without compromising safety, quality or compliance What W ill C onvince U s Hands-on plastic injection moulding processing experience is essential Previous experience in a leadership role, such as Manager, Supervisor, Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Team Leader or similar Strong knowledge of injection moulding machinery, equipment and manufacturing processes Proven experience leading, coaching and developing teams within a manufacturing environment Good understanding of manufacturing KPIs, including OEE, scrap reduction and production efficiency Knowledge of 5S and Continuous Improvement methodologies Strong troubleshooting and problem -solving skills, with the ability to resolve production and process issues effectively Excellent communication and people management skills A proactive, flexible and hands-on management style In order to commence working with us, the successful candidate must have the right to work in the UK.
