Your role
The Project Manager will coordinate and implement key strategic and operational projects on the corporate level, based on an in-depth understanding of the Healthcare China strategy and business priorities, in line with policy and market dynamics so that optimal business growth can be achieved.
This is a role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for driving results. You will report to the Head of Project Management Office (PMO) and work closely with the China Leadership Team to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. In return, you will have full visibility to executives on both China and Global levels.
You are expected to be a quick learner, a strategic thinker, and a self-driven multi-tasker who can communicate effectively with stakeholders across a complex matrix environment and make things happen under pressure and amid conflict.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- ✓Assist the PMO Head in managing strategic projects and operational tasks for the GM and the China Leadership Team, including every aspect of a project such as accurate planning, resourcing, process management, tracking, risk assessment, and communication
- ✓Play an active role in the assessment of new product launches, particularly in the therapeutic area of Neurology & Immunology (N&I)
- ✓Support corporate annual planning cycles, such as Strategic Development (SD), Brand Plan (BP), and Quarterly Performance Reviews
- ✓Support transformation and efficiency programs by providing advice, supervising project progress, and reporting on status at all levels of the program
- ✓Build and maintain a strong relationship with China and Global key stakeholders and ensure efficient communication cross-functionally
Minimum Requirements
- ✓Bachelor or Master in a life sciences relevant field; MBA is a plus
- ✓Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in consulting or corporate/business strategy, with an industry focus on pharmaceuticals, biotech, or any healthcare-related environment
- ✓Competent in data analysis and visualization, excellent skills in MS PowerPoint and Excel
- ✓Experience in managing complex projects that involve cross-functional collaborations is a plus
- ✓Experience in new product launch readiness in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills, both in Chinese and English
- ✓Analytical and strategical thinking with performance-oriented drive, able to synthesize multiple perspectives into frameworks and comfortable with uncertainties and conflicts
- ✓Multi-tasker with proactive, clear understanding of task prioritization
- ✓Good team player, highly competent in working within complex cross-functional and cross-geographical teams
