About this role

Overview Job Purpose: The Specialist Capacity planner plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of materials across the intralogistics flow. You will act as the nervous system of our internal flow while simultaneously coordinating real time physical capacity and material flow required to achieve operation’s continuity. Your ultimate goal is to enhance the agility of the BioPlant Supply Chain by driving stronger internal cross functional collaboration between Supply Chain and Warehouse through tactical planning and execution between E2E, delivering outstanding service levels without bottle neck.

Experience & Skills Warehousing or supply planning in a GMP manufacturing environment for 5 years minimum, ideally in a pharma / biotech environment. Proven expertise in MRP/ERP systems (SAP/EWM is a plus). Excellent collaboration skills to align Supply Chain, Warehouse, and 3PL.

Strong problem-solving abilities to address capacity bottleneck and workload surge for WH operators. Resilient and results-driven mindset, capable of delivering under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Job Description 1 – Material Flow Optimization.

Space & Labor Forecasting: Analyze incoming delivery volume and outbound order forecast to ensure the facility has physical capacity and staffing required for the days and weeks ahead. Volume Balancing: Level load the inbound and inbound schedule to prevent overwhelming / red alert to the receiving docks and reception area. Dock Orchestration: Monitor the physical movement of goods from the receiving docks trough put away, and out to shipping to our 3PL, proactively identifying and resolving bottle neck.

Exception Management: Rapidly resolve daily logistical disruption such as late trucks, with minimal impact on the overall warehouse flow. Optimize STO (Stock Transfer Orders) by balancing service level targets, warehouse capacity, and sampling needs across internal and 3PL networks 2 – Design and deploy Core Supply Chain / Warehouse KPI implementation. Establish and track critical warehouse and logistic performance metrics including Dock-to-Stock, PO Picking lines per day, Storage utilization in Pallet, Stock Time to Use, STO Health, STO Reaction Time, Labor Capacity Forecasting to drive efficiency and ensure business continuity.

We are looking for someone who will take ownership of our internal flow and proactively drive the maturity of our E2E Material flow in collaboration with Warehouse and Supply Chain Planning.
