This r ole will define how commercialization data is acquired, managed, governed, organized, and activated through high-value data products in close partnership with DT (Digital Technology), the global insights community , and senior business stakeholders across the organization. The role will also connect data strategy to meaningful commercialization outcomes, including improved patient pull-through, time-to-therapy, and overall performance.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities: Lead th e c o mmercial ization data stra tegy ca pabilit y to support g r o wth across t he po rtfo lio , in c lud i ng the da t a a c q ui sitio n roadmap , gov erna nce mo d e l, d ata pro d uct strategy, operating rhythms, and enterprise standards required to drive scalable analytics, AI readiness, and commercialization performance. Partner acro ss t he commercialization data ecosystem to st rengthen data acquisiti on , data prod uct ma nag e ment, gov e rnance, dat a qual ity, business enablem e nt, and ad optio n. D efine commercialization data architecture, platform requirements, integration priorities , master data needs , data quality controls , and AI- enablement capabilities in close p art ner sh ip with DT (D igital T ech n ology) a nd the global insights community .

Provide targeted support to the global insights community and global teams on data strategy , data acquisition , and capability building, helping align approaches, share reusable standards and solutions , and strengthen data foundations across markets . Lead commercialization data acquisition strategy, including identification, evaluation, onboarding, rationalization, and lifecycle management of external and internal data sources to redu c e dupli ca tion, im pr ove value fro m data investment s , and su pport analytic s, r eporti ng, se g men t ation , forecastin g, AI, a n d data p ro duct de ve lopment. Establish and maintain com mercia lization data gover n an ce practi ces, i n cludin g definitions, ownership, stewardship, quality standards, metadata management, access rules, privacy and compliance considerations, issue-resolution processes , and mechanisms to identify and prevent duplicative or inconsistent data acquisition .

Create a nd man age a portfolio of commercialization data products that translate data into ac tionable insights a nd reusable capabil it ies suppor ting fie ld execution , access strategy , se lf-serv e ana l ytics, AI- e nabled us e cases, a nd commer cializat i on decisi on -ma king . Advanc e AI readines s by ensuri ng dat a asse ts are we l l - g overned, h ig h-qu ality, d isc ov erabl e, appr opriately doc umented, i nterope rable, and fit for analytica l, au tomation, and AI-enabled workflows. Translate commercialization business needs into clear data requirements, product backlogs, delivery pr i oriti es , and adopti o n plans in pa rtne rship with Commercial A nalytics & Insights , D T, a nd functional stakeholder s.

Partner across c ommercial iz ation commu n ities, i ncluding pa tie n t, HCP , market access , and me dical a ffairs evid en ce g eneration stakeholder s, to a l ign d ata standards, expe ctations , source s t rat e gies, and r equ i rements ne eded to enable con sisten t insigh t generation. Suppo rt data fluency a nd ado ption acros s commerc ia lization t eams by improv in g data usa bility, clarit y, consistency , a nd a ccessibil ity, while help ing user s un d erstand trusted data s ou r ces, d e finitions, an d appro p riate use cases across comm er cia lization workflows . Manage ke y da t a vendor and partner relat ionshi ps, includ i ng data a cq uisition a greements, da ta qualit y expectations, service levels, documentation, and ongoing performance management.

Define and monitor measures of data value, quality, completeness, timeliness, usage, adoption, and rea diness for ad vanced a nalytics an d AI-enabled applic ations. Collab o rat e with Commercial Analy tics & Insights , DT, an d busine s s st akeholders to pr iori t ize data a n d analyt i cs i nvestmen t s based on c o mmercializ ation p riorities , AI read iness ne ed s, f easibil ity, risk , and expected business impact. Serve as the senior data strategy subject matter expert and trusted t hought partner to commercia lizatio n leaders, s haping the data f oun d ation req uired for la unch p lanni ng, in-market per f ormance ma nage ment, pipeline planning, and future digital and AI capabilities.

Partner with Finance , P rocuremen t, L egal, Compliance, and DT to support data contracts , d ata rights, priv acy c o nsid erations, and budget management for commercialization data assets and platforms. Desired Skills and Experience : Deep expertise in co mmercial izatio n data s trategy , dat a acquisi tion, data manageme n t, gov ernance, da ta arch itecture, dat a pr oducts, a nd analyt ic s en ablem en t w i t hin th e biopha rm a ce utical ind ustry , with a track record of setting direction across complex organizations . Demo n strated abil i ty to par tner wi th DT (Digit al Tech no logy) and b usiness stakeholders to translate data nee ds into scalable p latform, inte gration , gov e rnance, and AI-readiness requir ements.

Experie nce bui l d i n g reus ab le da ta products, da t a marts, curated datasets, seman tic layers, or o the r trusted data assets that support analytics, reporting , self-serv e insight s , a nd A I-e nabled workflows. Deep appreciation for data quality , metadata, li neage, stewardship, access manag emen t, co mpliance , pr i vacy, and t he g overnance founda t ions required for responsible analytics and AI use . Proven ability to assess, onboard, manage , and op tim ize external data vendors, data prov ider s, and implementation partners.

Executive-level c ommunica tion, fa cil ita tion, and stake holder leadership skills, with the judgment and credibility to influence across commercialization communities , DT, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and external partners. Ability to work in a h ands-on , builder en vir o nment wh ile esta blishi ng structure , st an dards , and sc alable w a ys of w or k ing for a growing d ata strategy function. Stro n g en terprise busi ness judgment a nd ability to mak e and guide in vestment trade -offs base d on strategic va lue , feasibilit y , r isk, data ri gh t s, A I readines s , and ex pected impact on commercialization performance .

Ability to d rive data fluency, adoption, and behavior c hange across bu si ness teams by mak ing data prod ucts easi e r to under stand, trust, and use in day -to-day decision- m aking. Good understanding of ph armaceut i cal commerc i alization , data privac y, complia nce, re gulatory co ns iderations, and appropriate use of health care and commerci a l data. E ducation and Qualifications : BA or B S required , MBA Preferred Minimum of 1 2-15 y ear s of experie nce in data st rate gy, d ata man a ge m ent , co mmercializ ation ope rations, analytics enabl ement, busin es s intellig ence, or relate d f unctions within the biopharmaceutical , healthcare , or life sciences industry.

Demonstr ated experienc e defining and leading enterprise-scal e data g overnan ce , data ac q uisition, data pr oduct, dat a platf orm, data quality, or AI-read i nes s initiatives in partnership with technology teams. Stro ng analytical and systems-think ing skills, with th e a bili ty to connect b usiness questions , data assets, p latform capabi li tie s, governance requi rem e nts , and end-user adoption. Start-u p , launch, or capabi lity -bui lding experience preferred .

Familiarity with leading healthcare and pharmac e ut ical d ata sources, data pro viders , an a lytic s pl atforms, c loud da ta environm ents, and dat a gove rnanc e tools p referred . #LI-remote ‎ For applicants in the United States: The annual base salary hiring range for this position is $236,000.00 - $324,500.00 USD. This range reflects our good faith estimate at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined using objective, inclusive, and job-related criteria such as relevant experience, skills, demonstrated competencies and internal equity.

This means actual pay may differ from the posted range when justified by these factors. Because market conditions evolve, pay ranges are reviewed regularly and may be adjusted to remain aligned with external benchmarks. This job is eligible to participate in our short-term and long-term incentive programs, subject to the terms and conditions of those plans and applicable policies.
