Position Summary

The Marketing Analytics Manager is responsible for providing Marketing with a clear, trustworthy view of performance by connecting marketing activities, spend, and sales outcomes into actionable insights. This role oversees marketing reporting, attribution, and data quality, ensuring teams have reliable information to measure effectiveness and make informed decisions. By connecting campaign, channel, and Salesforce pipeline data, the Marketing Analytics Manager helps quantify marketing’s impact, optimize investment decisions, and build the foundation for advanced marketing mix and ROI measurement.

Core Responsibilities

  • Select, implement, and own the marketing attribution and reporting platform, evaluating options such as Marketing Cloud Intelligence, given NeoGenomics’ existing Salesforce and Marketing Cloud investment
  • Own data quality for marketing reporting: consistent campaign tagging, UTM parameters, and channel definitions, proactively catching and fixing gaps before they undermine trust in the data
  • Build and maintain dashboards connecting marketing spend through to leads, MQL and SQL status, and pipeline contribution, giving every team visibility into their own performance
  • Translate what the data shows into concrete recommendations, where to invest, where to pull back, not just reporting numbers without a point of view
  • Partner with the Director, Marketing Operations and Commercial Enablement to keep Marketing’s data aligned with Commercial KPIs
  • Track progress toward the data foundation (volume, consistency, history) needed to eventually support marketing mix modeling, advising the Director when that capability becomes realistic to pursue, whether built-in-house or through a specialized partner
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt more efficient analytics tools and practices, including AI-enabled tools, replacing manual reporting processes with better ones rather than defaulting to how things have always been done

Experience, Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master preferred
  • 8+ years of marketing analytics, reporting, or MarTech experience, including hands-on experience with attribution or reporting platforms and Salesforce data
  • Demonstrated experience selecting, implementing, and owning an attribution or marketing analytics platform
  • Track record of identifying and fixing data quality issues, inconsistent campaign tagging, broken UTM tracking, and misaligned channel definitions, before they undermine trust in reporting
  • Ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations, not just present numbers
  • Comfortable querying data directly (SQL or equivalent) to self-serve answers and diagnose data quality issues
  • Working knowledge of CDP (Customer Data Platform) concepts sufficient to specify data requirements accurately to DTS
  • Familiarity with marketing mix modeling concepts and data requirements, even without hands-on MMM experience, sufficient to advise on readiness and options
  • Comfortable evaluating and adopting new analytics tools and practices, including AI-enabled tools, to drive efficiency

Travel Required

Ability to travel as required by role (up to 15% of the time) primarily internal meetings and occasional conferences

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status.
