Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Maximize BMS's Value of Innovation story through leveraging existing and/or building sustainable relationships with key external stakeholders across Hong Kong and Macau, including the Hospital Authority, private hospitals and clinics, insurers, and patient groups.
  • Work with the team developing business cases with justifiable rationale, patient forecast model, accurate sales forecast, and execution plan to support internal review and approval.
  • Responsible for development and implementation of strategic pricing and reimbursement strategy in the therapeutic areas of Oncology, Hematology and Immunology (and other BMS disease areas as required) suited to Hong Kong's public/private healthcare structure and Macau's healthcare system.
  • Responsible for preparation of Health Technology Assessments, Budget Impact analyses, and data for submission dossiers supporting inclusion in Hong Kong's Samaritan Fund and Community Care Fund (CCF) Medical Assistance Programmes, and for registration and access submissions to Macau's Health Bureau and Pharmaceutical Administration Bureau.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of Patient Support Programs (PSPs) across Hong Kong and Macau, ensuring programs are compliant, deliver measurable patient value, and support product access and adherence.
  • Monitor local pricing/access issues and regulatory developments across Hong Kong and Macau (including the “1+” drug registration mechanism and Greater Bay Area medicine and device access initiatives), assess risks and opportunities, and communicate to global & local stakeholders to develop appropriate plans.

Qualifications

  • Position experience:

3+ years working experience in the pharmaceutical industry - Experience dealing with the Hospital Authority (HA), private hospitals/healthcare practitioners, insurers, and/or pricing and reimbursement systems in Hong Kong and/or Macau.

Minimum 1 year in market access and/or marketing, or experience in HTA and budget impact modelling. Oncology/Hematology experience is a plus.

  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and Cantonese, both oral and written; Mandarin and/or Portuguese is an advantage given the Macau market.
  • Computer Skills: Working knowledge, especially good at Excel and PowerPoint.

Other requirements

  • Has the ability of integrating marketing, medical, and pricing & access perspectives into a cohesive overall strategy for products and indications.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Independent self-starter with can-do attitude and organized project management skills.
  • Comfortable managing two distinct healthcare systems and stakeholder sets (Hong Kong and Macau) within a single remit.
  • Strong customer orientation.
