Start your career by helping deliver medicines and vaccines to patients around the world. On our two-year Global Supply Chain Graduate Program, you’ll apply your scientific, engineering or digital knowledge to real manufacturing challenges while developing through rotations, training and mentoring. What You’ll Experience: Cross-Functional Exposure : Spend time at your home site, working on cross-functional projects and rotations to deepen your expertise and knowledge of the business.
Kaizen Assignment : A short-term breadth assignment, which could include global-focused opportunities, to expand your skills and experience beyond your home site. Smart Manufacturing : Get involved in innovative projects that leverage AI, data and technology to transform our manufacturing processes.
Problem Solving : Lead impactful continuous improvement projects while developing your expertise in lean methodologies and Six Sigma skills. Drive change and innovation : Identify and implement initiatives to streamline processes using tools like Standard Work, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping. Make a difference : Leading projects to improve lead times and eliminate inefficiencies, ensuring our supply chain operates at peak performance.
Collaboration : Work with experts to prioritize and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives, gaining hands-on experience in coaching and project management. Business Excellence : Be at the forefront of innovation by contributing to the deployment of GSK’s production system (GPS) strategy. Shape the future of manufacturing : Supporting the implementation of lean standards in production environments.
Drive performance excellence : Work with teams to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) that maintain high standards. Empower others : Training and coaching employees and managers in applying continuous improvement techniques and tools. Digital Data & Analytics : Leverage advanced technologies like AI and PowerBI to analyze data and boost productivity and efficiency.
What skills are we looking for? Technical Expertise : A relevant degree, interest in innovation and pharmaceutical manufacturing, and willingness to learn how the work supports patients. Digital Curiosity : An interest in using new technologies, digital and data analytics to solve complex problems.
Patient Focus : Interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing, continuous improvement and high-quality work that supports patients. Accurate and structured: Works accurately using agreed checks, applies structured problem-solving methods and manages projects effectively. Collaborative communicator: You solve problems with people and build strong relationships across teams and partners.
