About this role

Do you have experience with HVAC or ventilation systems and enjoy combining technical support, maintenance planning and continuous improvement? Would you like to apply your expertise in API production, where reliable utility systems are critical to keeping production running? If so, this could be your opportunity to join our Black Utility team in Kalundborg.

Your new role As our new HVAC Supporter, you will help ensure the stable operation, maintenance and optimisation of HVAC systems across Manufacturing 1. This is a technical support role rather than a hands-on mechanical position. Your focus will be on planning, coordination, data, documentation, problem-solving and improvements surrounding the equipment.

You will work closely with the HVAC equipment-responsible colleague, technicians, production stakeholders, maintenance teams and project managers. The role gives you broad exposure across the organisation because ventilation supports many activities within the factory. Your main responsibilities will include: Providing technical support and systematic problem-solving for HVAC systems, including root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions.

Managing and improving maintenance plans, master data, spare-parts information and equipment lifecycle activities using SAP and relevant quality documentation. Using the building management system and equipment data to monitor performance, identify trends and support reliable operations. Driving smaller HVAC-related projects and contributing technical expertise to larger projects, including work relating to fire and smoke dampers.

Identifying and implementing opportunities to optimise maintenance, equipment performance, energy use and environmental impact. You will join an area with a substantial number of ventilation systems and a clear opportunity to make a visible difference. The working environment is fast-paced, priorities may shift, and you will be involved in projects and operational challenges with high criticality.

It is therefore an exciting opportunity if you enjoy bringing structure to complex technical information while also being ready to take action. Your new department You will become part of API IO M1 MC Black Utility in Kalundborg. The local team consists of approximately 13 colleagues, primarily marine engineers and skilled workers, who provide technical support to production and maintenance.

The team works closely with operations, builds strong relationships across the factory and takes ownership of solving technical challenges. Within HVAC, you will work particularly closely with two support colleagues and a skilled worker responsible for hands-on technical activities. You can expect a collaborative working culture with strong professional ownership, direct communication and colleagues who support one another.

The position is primarily based on site in Kalundborg. Your skills and qualifications We are looking for someone who combines knowledge of ventilation systems with a structured and proactive approach. You enjoy creating an overview, following up on details and turning technical information into practical improvements.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have: A relevant technical education, for example as a Marine Engineer, Engineer or within another related technical discipline. Experience working with HVAC or ventilation systems, preferably within an industrial, production or regulated environment. An interest in technical support, maintenance planning, equipment optimisation, data and systematic problem-solving.

Familiarity with SAP and building management or CTS systems is an advantage, as is knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice requirements. Fluency in both Danish and English, written and spoken. As a person, you are curious, organised and comfortable managing several priorities.

You collaborate effectively with different professional groups, ask thoughtful questions and build trust with stakeholders. Experience with project work is beneficial, but an interest in learning how to drive smaller technical projects is equally important.
