Position Purpose
Serve as the technical reference point for Warehouse & Distribution, ensuring operational excellence, GMP/GDP compliance, continuous improvement of logistics processes, and the effective use of information systems, while contributing to digital transformation and fostering a Lean culture within the area.
This role is responsible for driving improvement initiatives, leading cross-functional projects, and providing technical support to warehouse and distribution operations, promoting efficiency, quality, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- ✓Operational Excellence and Logistics Processes
- ✓Provide technical support to warehouse and distribution operations.
- ✓Analyze operational incidents and coordinate corrective actions.
- ✓Identify opportunities for improvement in logistics processes.
- ✓Drive process standardization and the implementation of best practices.
- ✓Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the area.
- ✓Collaborate closely with Supervisors and Management to resolve operational issues and enhance overall area performance.
- ✓Warehouse & Distribution Quality Officer
- ✓Ensure compliance with GMP/GDP requirements applicable to the area.
- ✓Manage or coordinate deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and investigations related to Warehouse & Distribution.
- ✓Support internal audits, corporate audits, and regulatory inspections.
- ✓Participate in the development, review, and maintenance of GMP procedures and documentation.
- ✓Promote a culture of quality and compliance within the team.
- ✓Monitor quality metrics and associated action plans.
- ✓SAP Key User and Digitalization
- ✓Act as the SAP Key User for Warehouse & Distribution.
- ✓Provide functional support to area users.
- ✓Participate in system testing, validation activities, and implementation of system enhancements.
- ✓Identify opportunities for process automation and digitalization.
- ✓Collaborate with IT and other departments on digital transformation projects.
- ✓Ensure the proper use of systems and maintain the quality of master data associated with logistics processes.
- ✓Lean, Continuous Improvement, and Project Management
- ✓Actively participate in the deployment and consolidation of the warehouse Lean program.
- ✓Lead improvement projects focused on increasing productivity, efficiency, quality, and service levels.
- ✓Apply Lean methodologies and continuous improvement tools to eliminate waste and optimize processes.
- ✓Facilitate Kaizen activities, problem-solving initiatives, and cross-functional improvement actions.
- ✓Coordinate multidisciplinary teams in change and transformation projects.
- ✓Evaluate the impact of implemented improvements through performance metrics and data analysis.
- ✓Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the area.
Education and Required Knowledge
Essential
- ✓University degree or technical qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- ✓Experience in logistics operations and warehouse management.
- ✓Knowledge of GMP/GDP requirements in a pharmaceutical environment.
- ✓Experience with SAP (MM, WM, EWM, or related modules).
- ✓Experience managing deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
- ✓Strong data analysis and KPI management skills.
- ✓Professional level of English.
Highly Desirable
- ✓Lean Manufacturing and/or Lean Warehousing experience.
- ✓Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent training.
- ✓Experience with Power BI and data visualization tools.
- ✓Project management experience.
- ✓Process automation and digitalization experience.
- ✓Experience working in regulated pharmaceutical environments.
