Position Summary
As a Marketing Specialist you will assist the Product Management team with key project deliverables to support the achievement of the Product Management department goals:
- ✓Marketing research, analysis, and strategy to develop and launch new products
- ✓Driving sales results to achieve the global financial plan for the product portfolio
- ✓Building and sharing strong product and market knowledge throughout the organization
- ✓Cultivating relationships with key industry Customers and cross-functional areas
What You'll do as a Marketing Specialist
Market & Voice of Customer Research
Provide market intelligence on the trends, customers, competitors and other factors affecting the marketplace to support management decision making.
- ✓Gather data on competition, summarize, and communicate findings.
- ✓New product development research to support business cases and marketing planning.
- ✓Frequent communication and collaboration with global sales team on focus projects and products.
- ✓PVP participation and Field Travel (up to 10% in US).
- ✓Attend major industry tradeshows to build clinical, product, and market knowledge.
Financial Analysis, Trending, and Reporting for Existing and New Products
Analyze data to support key marketing metrics for financial and market reports on product
portfolio.
- ✓Trending reports (Ex: Identifying and Understanding Lost Business).
- ✓Product performance report review and data analysis support for PM team.
- ✓Financial planning and modeling for new products.
- ✓Inventory planning and forecasting support for focus product area.
Implementation of Product Marketing Plans and key POAs for focus product area
Support the PM Team with activities that drive sales and education for strategic product lines
- ✓Downstream sales support for product promotions and development of sales collateral.
- ✓Support and participate in sales meetings, national & regional conferences and events.
- ✓Presentation content development and training support.
Support New Product Development and Business Continuity Projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to learn about the NPD process and provide commercial feedback
- ✓Participate in all phases of the stage-gate process for NPD including product research, product testing, in-field design testing support, financial analysis and forecasting, situation analysis, product positioning, customer analysis, marketing plan, and sales and Customer communication plan.
- ✓Commercial lead on business continuity projects.
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed
Required
- ✓BA degree in business, marketing, science, engineering, or related field of study
- ✓Minimum 1 year of relevant business experience
- ✓Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Organized and detail oriented
- ✓Demonstrated ability to structure and manage a project from start to finish
- ✓Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment
- ✓High-level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

Pay range for this opportunity is $59,075.00 - $76,450.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
