Requisition ID: 67770 Title: Facilities Specialist Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education. Our Facilities team is actively searching for a Facilities Specialist. This position will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on items, equipment and systems within their field of expertise.
Primary duties shall be scheduled in such a way that allows the Specialist to assist in carrying out general maintenance objectives on a daily basis as well. This position will focus on HVAC functions. The schedule for the role will be Monday thru Friday, 4:00pm to 12:30am.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs skilled, advanced journey-level duties in the inspection, installation, repair and servicing of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and electrical systems and related equipment and facilities. Performs general building/facilities repairs & maintenance duties as needed on internal/external buildings, grounds and equipment.
Helps to provide a safe and clean work environment by taking care of general maintenance needs. Assists all employees to be able to function in the most efficient way. Notifies the Supervisor or Manager of any performance or safety issue as they arise.
Support programs, policies, and procedures to help the growth of Arthrex as a world class medical device manufacturer. Performs work and assists in maintaining operations in compliance with applicable Arthrex policies and OSHA regulations. Actively trains and mentors new and existing technicians on new equipment and processes.
Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required. 10 years of directly related experience required in the position’s objective. Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training: Requires advanced mastery of building systems (fire, chiller, compressed air, etc.) or advanced mastery of building maintenance and repair, dependent upon facility assignment.
Ability to anticipate implications and consequences of situations and take appropriate action to be prepared for possible complications. Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: Demonstrated mastery of a maintenance discipline preferred.
