This is a full time, permanent position working 39 hours per week (Day shift), Monday - Friday.
The purpose of this job is to serve as a member of the group within the client environment to support their technical and analytical tasks, to work to the highest standards in terms of quality and professionalism.
As Analytical Development Laboratory Support Analyst or AD Laboratory Support Analyst, duties will include:
- ✓You will coordinate the effective management of laboratory samples and materials, including sample receipt, retrieval, storage, shipping, tracking and movement through the laboratory, ensuring all activities are completed in line with GMP and client requirements.
- ✓You will oversee freezer and sample management activities, including alarm monitoring, logbook reviews, audit readiness, personnel training, sample transfers and liaison with maintenance teams for calibrations, preventative maintenance and equipment support.
- ✓You will maintain and administer laboratory systems and documentation, including SAP work orders, LIMS data entry, job card updates, external results management and the accurate completion of records to support compliance and data integrity.
- ✓You will support laboratory operations by printing and issuing manufacturing labels, managing reference material inventories, generating environmental monitoring and water analysis reports, producing business metrics and assisting analytical teams as required.
- ✓You will collaborate closely with client personnel, suppliers and internal stakeholders to respond to sample-related enquiries, communicate operational updates and ensure laboratory services consistently meet or exceed client expectations.
- ✓You will uphold Eurofins quality, safety and housekeeping standards while maintaining training compliance, identifying process improvement opportunities, providing cross-functional team support and contributing to the delivery of an efficient, cost-effective service.
- ✓You will hold a third-level qualification in a scientific discipline, providing a strong foundation in laboratory practices and scientific principles.
- ✓You will have experience working within a GMP-regulated laboratory environment and a thorough understanding of compliance, quality standards and good documentation practices.
- ✓You will have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced laboratory setting.
- ✓You will have strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively and maintain an efficient working environment.
- ✓You will have excellent communication skills, enabling you to build effective relationships and collaborate confidently with both internal and external stakeholders.
- ✓You will have a proactive and collaborative approach to work, demonstrating the ability to contribute positively as part of a team while supporting wider operational objectives.
