Your Role

Responsibilities

  • Own your territory. Build and execute account plans, manage a defined portfolio across universities, hospitals, government agencies, small pharma, food & beverage and industrial accounts, and consistently achieve sales targets.
  • Grow the pipeline. Proactively pursue opportunities in environmental monitoring, hygiene monitoring, pathogen testing, bioburden, and rapid microbial technologies through outbound outreach via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Be the expert. Maintain strong technical and application knowledge in microbiology and environmental monitoring to deliver value-driven conversations with QA/QC and procurement contacts across all customer segments.
  • Drive commercial outcomes. Manage pricing strategies including quotations, customer-specific pricing programs (CSPs), and value-add negotiations; maintain pipeline activity in Salesforce.com and submit accurate quarterly forecasts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally. Partner with Field Application Specialists, Marketing, and Technology Specialists to execute targeted campaigns, support account growth, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

You will work out of our Burlington, MA office covering a territory that includes CA, OR, WA, AK, and BC Canada.
