This role is part of Alcon's Quality & Regulatory Affairs function, a team that ensures our products are in compliance with global, local, and internal regulations and meet the strictest standards of quality as we help people see brilliantly.

The Sr. Manager, Quality Control Lab - Analytical Science & Technology (AS&T) (Management Path), is primarily responsible for defining site strategy and ensuring consistent implementation of AS&T, compliance with analytical methods, and quality systems. You will support equipment qualification and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and key quality indicators (KQIs) for continuous improvement.

In this role, a typical day will include: Oversee the delivery of analytical chemistry and microbiology services to support product and process validation, product release, and compliance with regulatory requirements Optimize quality control processes and ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGxP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Make key decisions affecting operations and lead with strategic planning, problem-solving, and strong communication skills Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to integrate lab results into the manufacturing process Drive innovation through scientific principles and ensure adherence to GxP regulations by maintaining accurate and complete documentation Complete all required training and contribute to the overall compliance and continuous improvement of the organization WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs) The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English 7 Years of Relevant Experience 5 Years of Demonstrated Leadership Location: Onsite-Fort Worth, Texas Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm Travel Requirements: 0-10% Sponsorship & Relocation: Not Available HOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON: Collaborate with teammates to share standard processes and learnings as work evolves!
