中国，上海 | 全职 | Job ID: 11775 About the Role: As the technical lead for antibody discovery and engineering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping BioNTech's innovative antibody pipeline. From target validation to candidate nomination, your expertise will drive the full workflow of antibody discovery and optimization. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team, manage cross-functional discovery programs, and integrate cutting-edge technologies to advance drug candidates into clinical development—all while contributing to BioNTech's mission of revolutionizing immunotherapy.
Your Contribution: • Develop and refine technical roadmaps for antibody discovery platforms, including hybridoma, phage/yeast display, single B-cell screening, and next-generation approaches • Advance antibody engineering capabilities such as humanization, affinity maturation, Fc engineering, bispecific/multispecific design, and developability optimization • Evaluate and integrate novel technologies like transgenic animal platforms, high-throughput screening methods, and AI-assisted antibody design • Lead drugability and developability assessments covering expression, purification, biophysical characterization, stability evaluation, manufacturability analysis, and CMC readiness • Manage multiple discovery projects from target evaluation through candidate confirmation while collaborating with Biology, Process Development, Preclinical teams, and other functions • Build and develop a high-performing team of 10–20 members by overseeing performance management, technical training programs, career development plans, and succession planning strategies • Establish robust project management practices ensuring documentation integrity and timely decision-making processes A Good Match: • Ph.D. in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy or related field; postdoctoral experience preferred • Over 8 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience in antibody discovery/engineering with at least 3 years of team management experience • Proven track record of advancing drug candidates to clinical development stages while managing cross-functional discovery programs from target evaluation to candidate confirmation • Deep expertise in at least two antibody discovery technologies such as hybridoma platforms or single B-cell screening methods; strong knowledge in humanization techniques and multispecific design is essential • Familiarity with structural biology including modeling or sequence-guided engineering; knowledge of transgenic animal platforms or AI-assisted antibody design considered a plus • Fluent in English with excellent writing skills for technical documentation alongside strong communication and negotiation capabilities BioNTech 重视每一位团队成员的福祉，为多元化的员工提供全面的福利保障。我们提供具有市场竞争力的薪酬方案，具体将根据职位、工作地点及候选人资历与经验综合确定。注：各项福利的实际适用范围、享有条件及具体内容可能因所在地而异，最终以公司内部政策及当地法律法规为准。 申请方式： 请通过我们的在线申请链接提交以下材料： 个人简历 学位证书及职业资格证书复印件 联系方式 重要提示： 我们仅接受通过链接在线提交的求职申请。 提交申请即视为您知悉，招聘流程中将依相关法律法规进行背景调查。如您进入候选名单，BioNTech 将通过合作服务机构“HireRight”开展背景调查工作，招聘专员将及时与您沟通具体安排。 我们诚挚期待您的加入。
