Your Role
Are you an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in General Ledger processes and process automation? Join our team as a Business Process Expert (all genders) and contribute your expertise to improving financial processes, driving automation, and ensuring effective governance across the organization. In this role, you will perform regular Business Process Expert tasks, including control design and governance, KPI review, automation and governance, develop and maintain global work instructions and procedures, as well as conduct training for subject matter experts.
You will improve financial processes within General Ledger and ensure processes comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). You will collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, define and set automation rules, assist the technical team during configuration and implementation stages, work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and manage changes across the organization, and support the BPO and Team Lead with ad-hoc requests and project tasks.
This position is limited to 2 years.
Who you are
- ✓You have 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles and hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA or ICA are highly desirable.
- ✓You possess strong process improvement skills and hands-on experience with process automation for Record-to-Report (R2R), General Ledger Accounting Process, including tools and methodologies, and have extensive knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP S/4 HANA or SAP ECC.
- ✓You understand core accounting processes, including Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Asset Accounting (AA), General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP).
- ✓You have participated in large-scale transformation projects and can design and document comprehensive accounting processes with a focus on compliance and efficiency.
- ✓You excel in dynamic environments, demonstrating adaptability and a positive attitude.
- ✓You are proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience with data visualization and reporting tools; Experience with Redwood (RunmyFinance) or Blackline Finance Automation is an advantage.
- ✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
- ✓PMO exposure or experience supporting project governance, reporting, and process improvement; familiarity with PMO tools and methodologies is a plus.
