About this role
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support manufacturing operations at a regulated manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas. This role provides engineering support to production, driving process improvements, troubleshooting equipment and process issues, and supporting quality and compliance activities. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day engineering support to manufacturing lines, including equipment and process troubleshooting.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase yield, efficiency and product quality. Support nonconformances, investigations, root cause analysis and CAPAs. Author and update manufacturing procedures, work instructions and technical documentation.
Support change controls, equipment qualification and process validation activities. Work cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Maintenance and other Engineering teams.
Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Biomedical or related) Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing engineering experience in a regulated environment (medical device, pharmaceutical or similar) Working knowledge of GMP/quality system requirements, validation and change control Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving tools Key Skills Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Clear technical writing and communication Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment
Contract position: approximately 24 months, starting October 2026 Shift: Full-time, 40 hours/week On-site in Houston, Texas
