Main Responsibilities: Design experimental studies and independently operate high-throughput cell culture bioreactors (Ambr15 & Ambr250) to support screening studies and Design of Experiments (DoE) activities.
Conduct mammalian cell culture work (CHO cells) in a sterile laboratory environment Perform media preparation and bench-top bioreactor operations Execute literature searches to support bioprocess parameter optimization Compile and analyze data using statistical software (training provided on Spotfire, JMP, and other tools) Prepare and deliver presentations at team meetings, group meetings, and other venues Work collaboratively with the Cell Culture Bioprocess team on ongoing projects About You Basic Qualifications: Candidates currently pursuing a master or PhD degree in biotechnology, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering or related field at an accredited college or university. Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship. Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship. Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on cell culture experience with mammalian cells (CHO or similar) Experience working in a sterile environment using aseptic techniques Prior experience with bench-top bioreactor operations Familiarity with upstream bioprocess development Knowledge of bioprocess parameter optimization Experience with data analysis software (Spotfire, JMP, or similar statistical tools) Strong ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Excellent communication and presentation skills Why Choose Us Bring the miracles of science to life alongside a supportive, future focused team.
