A Day in the Life Enterprise Accounts & Integrated Health Solutions (EA&IHS) develops and scales strategic partnerships that combine products, services, digital capabilities, and data-driven solutions to address healthcare system challenges. The Marketing, Portfolio & Strategic Initiatives function is responsible for portfolio strategy, offer development, growth prioritization, and business intelligence that support long-term value creation across the region.
This role leads portfolio management activities for the EA&IHS portfolio, driving governance, prioritization, performance assessment, and strategic investment recommendations. The position also serves as a key business stakeholder for the Market and Customer Intelligence (MCI) platform, helping ensure insights and analytics support business and portfolio decisions. This is a senior individual contributor role with high visibility and influence across the organization.
The Senior Manager, Portfolio Management & MCI is responsible for shaping portfolio strategy and supporting business growth through portfolio governance, strategic analysis, and offer development. The role partners across commercial, marketing, finance, digital, clinical, and market teams to evaluate opportunities, prioritize investments, and translate customer, market, and competitive insights into actionable recommendations. The position also supports business adoption and effectiveness of the Market and Customer Intelligence platform.
Primary Responsibilities Establish and manage portfolio governance, review processes, decision frameworks, and portfolio roadmaps Assess portfolio performance, maturity, strategic fit, growth potential, and resource requirements to guide investment decisions Identify portfolio gaps, overlaps, risks, and growth opportunities and develop prioritization recommendations Build business cases and strategic analyses Translate customer, market, and competitive insights into portfolio actions and offer development opportunities Support the development and validation of new or enhanced offers through cross-functional collaboration Help define business requirements, priority use cases, and expected outcomes for the Market and Customer Intelligence platform Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master’s degree with experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, portfolio management, business strategy, or related strategic business functions Experience in top-tier management consulting, strategy consulting, or internal strategy roles Experience developing business cases, portfolio strategies, prioritization frameworks, and executive-level recommendations Experience using customer, market, and competitive insights to support strategic business decisions Fluent written and spoken English Preferred Qualifications Experience managing portfolios, growth initiatives, or offer development programs within complex organizations Experience in healthcare, medical technology, healthcare services, digital health, or health system transformation Experience with market intelligence, customer intelligence, analytics, or AI-enabled business platforms Experience leading initiatives across commercial, marketing, finance, technology, and operational functions Additional European language proficiency Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. Pay range / Rango salarial / Intervalo salarial /Fascia retributiva / Tranche de salaire / Gehaltsband / Salaribereik: United Kingdom: 88,720.00 GBP - 133,080.00 GBP | The final salary within this range will be determined based on objective, job-related criteria, including relevant experience, skills and qualifications, in accordance with our compensation framework. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
