Career Category Sales & Marketing Operations Job Description Location: Hyderabad, Amgen India Role Summary ▪ As an AIN member of the US brand marketing organization, the RDBU Marketing Operations Manager partners closely with assigned RDBU brand teams and cross-functional stakeholders to operationalize commercial brand plans through excellence in content operations, MLR coordination, omnichannel campaign execution and deployment. ▪ Acting as the execution lead within Amgen India (AIN), this role oversees end-to-end campaign delivery across assigned brands, manages agency and vendor partnerships, drives operational efficiency and ensures all outputs meet brand, quality and compliance standards. ▪ The role also provides leadership to team members and serves as a critical link between US brand teams, AIN delivery teams, Field Operations teams and external partners to enable seamless execution across field, digital and CRM channels. ▪ The role also provides leadership to team members and serves as a critical link between US brand teams, AIN delivery teams, Field Operations teams and external partners to enable seamless execution across field, digital and CRM channels. Key Responsibilities ▪ Partner closely with Brand Directors, Marketing Leads and cross-functional stakeholders to translate US brand strategies and omnichannel plans into clear, executable deliverables and operational roadmaps. ▪ Lead end-to-end omnichannel campaign execution across Field, CRM, email, web, paid digital, point-of-care and other customer engagement channels, ensuring alignment with brand objectives, timelines and compliance requirements. ▪ Own content operations processes including content planning, asset intake, workflow management, MLR/MAC submission readiness, approval tracking, deployment coordination and content lifecycle management. ▪ Lead MLR/MAC coordination activities, including submission planning, review management, stakeholder communication, approval tracking and issue resolution to ensure timely and compliant campaign execution. ▪ Oversee campaign deployment activities across field, digital channels, ensuring content readiness, quality assurance, channel configuration and launch preparedness. ▪ Coordinate end-to-end campaign and program delivery with AIN delivery pods, commercial stakeholders, agencies and vendors to ensure on-time, on-brand and compliant execution. ▪ Lead day-to-day engagement with agencies, production partners and external vendors, managing deliverables, timelines, quality standards and performance expectations. ▪ Translate omnichannel strategies into execution briefs for AIN delivery teams, including channel sequencing, content readiness, deployment requirements and operational dependencies. ▪ Surface and translate analytics and insight outputs (campaign performance, customer engagement, segmentation and channel effectiveness) into actionable recommendations that support campaign optimization and business decision-making. ▪ Champion the use of AI‑enabled content and productivity tools within the team to accelerate self‑service content creation, repurpose existing approved materials, and drive repeatable, scalable execution models across omnichannel campaigns. ▪ Promote standardized processes, modular content approaches, metadata management, tagging frameworks and reusable execution models to simplify operations and drive consistency. ▪ Track and report operational KPIs including on-time delivery, deployment quality, asset reuse, MLR cycle time, execution efficiency and campaign performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives. ▪ Establish clear governance, RACI frameworks, knowledge-transfer processes and handoffs between US brand teams, AIN delivery teams, agencies and vendors. ▪ Partner with Marketing Operations, Analytics, Compliance, Market Access and other commercial functions to ensure integrated execution and operational alignment. ▪ Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on campaign execution, content operations, deployment processes and stakeholder management while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications ▪ BS/BTech or equivalent degree; MBA in Marketing, Life Sciences or related field preferred. ▪ 7 - 12 years of relevant professional experience in omnichannel marketing, campaign operations, content operations or commercial marketing execution within a regulated environment, including 5+ years supporting US pharmaceutical brands and partnering across commercial functions such as Brand Marketing, Analytics, Market Access, Field Operations and Sales to deliver omnichannel engagement and business objectives. ▪ Demonstrated experience leading content operations, MLR/MAC processes, campaign deployment and omnichannel execution within a pharmaceutical or highly regulated environment. ▪ Proven experience partnering with brand teams and cross-functional stakeholders to execute marketing plans and manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs. ▪ Experience managing agencies, external partners, vendors and offshore delivery teams. ▪ Strong project management, stakeholder communication and execution leadership capabilities. ▪ Practical familiarity with enterprise marketing and content platforms such as Veeva, AEM, SFMC, Workfront, DAM and related marketing technologies. ▪ Experience leveraging analytics, automation and AI-enabled tools to improve operational efficiency and campaign effectiveness. ▪ Demonstrated experience leading execution teams, mentoring junior resources and driving operational excellence. ▪ Strong understanding of omnichannel campaign workflows, content lifecycle management and deployment processes.
Preferred Qualifications ▪ Pharmaceutical or healthcare commercial marketing experience with familiarity in MLR/compliance processes. ▪ Experience supporting HCP, Patient and KOL marketing initiatives for US pharmaceutical brands. ▪ Experience managing CRM, email, web, paid media and other omnichannel customer engagement programs. ▪ Experience working with campaign performance dashboards and translating insights into optimization recommendations. ▪ Experience operating within a global delivery model supporting US commercial organizations. .
