Within the Johnson & Johnson’s Finance organization, there are 4 departments that our recruiting for internship finance analyst positions: - Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Research & Development Finance (IM R&D – #1): This team is focused on supporting our departments that conduct ground-breaking research to address the most important medical needs of time with our finance analytical skills. - Johnson & Johnson Treasury (#1): Imagine working on projects that shape how a multinational manages its cash, risks, and banking relationships. - The internships (maximum #5) at Innovative Medicine Principal Operations (IMPO) will offer a unique opportunity to work in a Global Organization with teams based in US, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland, and Singapore working in close collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain, Commercial, Tax and Treasury and where you will get familiar with a broad set of financial aspects linked to Controlling, Inventory and Costing, Accounting and Reporting. Additionally, you will be gaining invaluable insights into our profit and loss (P&L) statements and balance sheets.

Your contributions will directly impact our financial strategies, driving us toward greater success and innovation. - The Innovative Medicine Supply Chain Finance team (#1) partners with supply chain teams to turn operational performance into financial insights that drive better decisions, improve efficiency, and support the delivery of innovative medicines to patients around the world. Examples of key responsibilities of the role can include but are not limited to: IM R&D Contribute to the preparation of monthly financial dashboards and management reports using Excel, Power BI, and SAP data. Develop proof-of-concept solutions that simplify reporting, documentation, knowledge management, or routine finance activities.

Assist with finance master data maintenance and data quality reviews. Support budget, forecast, and month-end analysis activities for R&D organizations. Identify opportunities to automate recurring reporting activities through Power Query, Power BI, Excel automation, or other digital tools.

IMPO Support routine accounting and controlling activities that are crucial for the financial operations of a Principal Company in the Global J&J landscape Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by helping to map processes, identify opportunities, and track project progress. Support data analysis, reporting, and forecasting activities by maintaining datasets, validating information, and generating insights to support operational and financial decision-making. Treasury Contribute to strategic projects such as analyzing regional trading landscapes, enhancing our financial systems, transition to a new Treasury Management System, supporting bank relationship management.

IMSC Optimizing SAP downloads in excel to prepare for budget reviews with business partners Prepare budget vs. actuals reports Support in process improvements, with focus on automation / digitalization Successful candidates will need: Masters/Bachelor education in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Commercial Engineering (should not be completed yet but preferably last year Master students) Technical aptitude, strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills. Fluency in English. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with Copilot, PowerBI, Chat GPT, and other digital tools is a plus We look forward to receiving your application!
