About this role

Your impact begins here As Sr AI Process Designer in Rapid Enablement, you will help business areas across Novo rethink how work gets done with AI, rather than simply applying AI to what already exists. You will join cross-functional engagements that take an opportunity from an initial request to an evidence-based decision about what happens next. By designing future-state services around what AI and people each do well, and testing them with real users, you help the right ideas move forward fast.

What you’ll bring You are proactive and structured, able to frame ambiguous problems independently, challenge an initial solution request constructively, and test a better future state under time pressure. You bring most of the following: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in service design, interaction design, human-computer interaction or a related field. 4+ years of experience applying service design, human-centred design or closely related methods to complex services or business processes, including researching and mapping end-to-end processes across multiple actors, systems, channels and organisational boundaries.

Strong facilitation experience, including online and in-person creative workshops and co-design sessions with senior, multidisciplinary stakeholders. The ability to turn research and operational evidence into clear design opportunities and future-state services, and to prototype and test concepts iteratively rather than relying only on analysis and documentation. Excellent visual and verbal communication skills: you make complex processes understandable to non-design and technical audiences, and challenge existing ways of working with confidence.

A pragmatic mindset: good today is better than perfect tomorrow. You balance great user experiences with project constraints. Strong planning and project management skills, with the ability to own larger deliverables independently and translate strategy into ambitious, testable goals.

Comfort working at pace with incomplete information, and strong collaboration skills with business subject-matter experts, software engineers and AI specialists. Useful, but not essential: Experience redesigning knowledge-work or enterprise business processes. AI-enabled service or workflow design, including human-in-the-loop patterns.

Experience in enterprise transformation, internal consulting, or regulated and highly complex organisations. Designing services that span digital and non-digital interactions. Experience with experimentation, rapid prototyping and discovery methods, and connecting design decisions to measurable business value.

Deep AI expertise is not required. You do need to understand the possibilities and limitations of AI well enough to design effectively alongside technical colleagues. What you’ll do You will work in short iterations and test the riskiest unknowns first, making quick progress while reducing risk.

You will facilitate the process from start to finish, bring others along without formal authority, and share findings so decision makers can act. Plan and facilitate workshops and co-design sessions with business and technical stakeholders to understand real users’ pain points, surface risky assumptions behind AI-driven ideas, and build shared understanding of the problem, target outcome and success criteria. Identify where AI, automation or human judgement can materially improve a workflow, and design future-state services rather than digitising the current state.

Work with team members and stakeholders to make hypotheses concrete through journey maps, service blueprints and prototypes. Test concepts with users and stakeholders, use the evidence to iterate, and help decide whether to proceed, change direction or stop. Capture rationale and evidence so a receiving team can continue the work after Rapid Enablement exits.

Who you’ll work with You will join Rapid Enablement, a new and growing team within AI Employee Experience & Enablement, part of Enterprise AI in Enterprise IT & Quality. The team exists to rapidly accelerate high-value AI opportunities across the Novo value chain, from idea to an evidence-based proof of value, and to build reusable enterprise productivity agents. In cross-functional engagements, you will work with business stakeholders, process owners, engineers and AI specialists.

Together you will move from a first request to a clear decision on what should happen next, with a direct effect on how AI improves workflows and is adopted across Novo. What you can expect here You will work at the leading edge of how Novo turns AI ambition into proven, adopted solutions, with your design judgement directly shaping which opportunities move forward. You will operate independently on ambiguous, high-value problems and receive guidance mainly on the most complex issues.

Each engagement touches a different part of the value chain, so you will build new skills and broaden your view of the business while contributing your expertise from day one. Your work supports our shared goal of reaching millions of people living with serious chronic diseases and creating lasting health. Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 651,000.00 to 956,900.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience. Start now Your impact begins today. If you are ready to help Novo redesign how work gets done with AI, apply for the Sr AI Process Designer role by November 5, 2026.

We commit to an inclusive recruitment process and equality of opportunity for all our job applicants.
