Terms of Service

By accessing or using BioCareerAI ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy & NDA. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BioCareerAI LLC. By checking the agreement box during registration, you acknowledge you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.

• ·You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• ·You must be a human — automated account creation is prohibited.
• ·You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• ·One person may maintain only one account. Duplicate accounts may be terminated.
• ·You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You agree to use BioCareerAI only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not:

• ·Upload false, misleading, or fabricated resume or professional information.
• ·Attempt to access other users' accounts, data, or private information.
• ·Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract data from the Platform.
• ·Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our AI models or algorithms.
• ·Use the Platform to harass, spam, or send unsolicited communications.
• ·Attempt to manipulate match scores, genome analysis, or AI outputs.
• ·Share your account credentials with any third party.
• ·Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.

Your content: You retain ownership of your resume, profile data, and any content you upload. By uploading content, you grant BioCareerAI a limited, non-exclusive license to process, analyze, and display it for the purpose of providing our services.

Our content: All Platform features, AI systems, algorithms, scoring methodologies, design, code, and content created by BioCareerAI are our exclusive intellectual property protected by copyright, trade secret, and patent law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content.

Feedback: If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us a royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve the Platform without any obligation to you.

• ·Free tier: Available indefinitely with limited features as described on our pricing page.
• ·Premium subscriptions: Billed per 15-day period or annually. Payments processed by Stripe.
• ·Cancellation: You may cancel anytime. Access continues until the end of your paid period.
• ·Refunds: We offer pro-rated refunds within 7 days of subscription purchase if you have not used premium features. Contact hello@biocareerai.com.
• ·Price changes: We will notify registered users at least 30 days before any price increases.
• ·Beta pricing: Current prices are launch/beta promotional rates and may change when the Platform exits beta.

Enterprise accounts are subject to additional terms agreed upon in writing. Enterprise users have access to candidate data only for roles to which candidates have explicitly applied. Unauthorized access to candidate data outside of active applications is prohibited and may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy & Non-Disclosure Agreement, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The NDA provisions are legally binding and enforceable.

No employment guarantee: BioCareerAI is a career intelligence platform. We do not guarantee job placement, interview invitations, or employment outcomes.

AI accuracy: Our AI systems provide best-effort analysis. Match scores, genome analysis, and career recommendations are probabilistic and should be used as guidance, not as definitive assessments.

Beta disclaimer: The Platform is provided "as is" during beta. We make no warranties of uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, BioCareerAI's total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately, though our NDA and confidentiality obligations survive termination as described in the Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States. Disputes shall be resolved in state or federal courts in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. You waive any objection to jurisdiction or venue in such courts.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms. Current terms are always at www.biocareerai.com/terms.
