
The Material Handler is responsible for all aspects of handling, moving, and tracking materials and components as well as completing documentation in support of and producing pharmaceutical products following cGMP regulatory standards, SOPs to ensure the product is safe, pure, and effective.
Unload, move and store materials as requested
Inspect and Deliver incoming shipments
Receive, inspect and deliver daily incoming shipments
Pick BOM(s) (Bill of Materials)
Complete pick-ups and deliveries between facility sites
Utilize SAP for more complex material transactions
Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and shipping/receiving areas
Work under general supervision
Complete Resource Conservation and Recovery Act training within 6 months of hire and annually thereafter
Must have a Current Driver’s License
Perform other duties as assigned
Ability to read and write English
Must have good communication skills
Ability to complete basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, division)
Must be mechanically inclined and able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must have attention to detail, multi-task, and handle multiple priorities without undue stress or errors
Ability to operate computer programs, such as Excel, Word, and Flowlytics
Must be able to operate a pallet jack
Must be able to operate a forklift
High School diploma
Education Equivalency:
3 years of education + 3 years of work experience
2 years of education + 5 years of work experience
1 year of education + 7 years of work experience
0 high school education + 9 years of work experience
1 year warehouse experience
Forklift experience a plus
