Ensures that the assigned departments and employees adhere to all policies, procedures and regulations governing processes, products, and employees as well as environmental, health and safety requirements Ensure that manufacturing teams following all company policies and procedures at all times and takes immediate corrective actions when needed e.g. pipetting calibrations, safety training Provide ongoing leadership, support and mentorship of direct reports and department team members Develop, monitor and report key performance indicators and metrics and take countermeasures when necessary to ensure continued attainment of long-term goals and objectives Create and enact plans and projects that support manufacturing’s performance goals, budgets and business strategy Regularly collaborate with leaders of other manufacturing groups, quality control, quality assurance and product development team to achieve company’s goals and meet customer needs Other projects or responsibilities as may be required. Minimu m Qualifications – Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in biology related field More than 5 years of relevant biotechnology work experience More than 3 years of leadership experience Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience PhD or Masters degree in biology related field Working knowledge of equipment and process used in protein purification and conjugation process More than 3 years of working knowledge of GMP and ISO13485 regulations as well as quality management system Working knowledge of ERP systems
