Eurofins Discovery is seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead commercial growth across South APAC ( Asia excluding Japan & Korea market). This role is responsible for driving regional sales performance, expanding strategic accounts, developing new business opportunities, and leading a high-performing business development team.

The successful candidate will combine strong commercial leadership, pharmaceutical industry expertise, and a deep understanding of the drug discovery market to accelerate business growth across the region.

Role Summary

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading procurement operations and managing the procurement team for Eurofins NSC Taiwan. This role covers procurement strategy execution, supplier management, cost control, cross-functional demand consolidation, and local procurement digitalization initiatives. The ideal candidate should bring strong procurement expertise, process improvement capability, and team leadership experience to enhance procurement efficiency, data transparency, and operational support for the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the procurement team to ensure quality, efficiency, and service standards in daily procurement operations.
  • Implement centralized procurement policies, consolidate business requirements, and develop effective procurement plans.
  • Manage supplier sourcing, evaluation, performance review, and commercial terms negotiation to build a stable and competitive supply base.
  • Drive local procurement digitalization initiatives, including process review, data integration, user requirement communication, testing coordination, training, and post-launch improvement.
  • Analyze procurement data and prepare regular reports on cost savings, procurement performance, and updates required by headquarters.
  • Support CAPEX purchasing, subsidiary projects, and other cross-functional procurement needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of procurement-related experience, preferably with at least 3 years of people management experience.
  • Solid knowledge of supplier management, sourcing, negotiation, cost analysis, contract management, and cross-functional communication.
  • Experience in procurement process improvement, digital tool adoption, or system implementation is preferred.
  • Good English communication skills and ability to work with regional or global teams.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, communication and coordination skills, leadership capability, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Mindful, responsible, and with integrity
